    Replacing air filter door plastic

Use a razor blade to slice the "plastic rivets" off. I couldn't use a razor blade on the ones that are near the middle so I just used a drill bit and slowly wore them down. Make sure not to drill too deep and enlarge the holes on the original door.
  2. I gotta say, I am loving this modification! I raced this past weekend and felt real comfortable with the bike and the way the power was delivered. I love power but it was hard to control the throttle coming out of a turn, especially when the track dried out or was real slick right after they watered. This just gives you the confidence to twist the throttle coming out of a turn because you know it won't be abrupt. I would definitely say this mod is well worth the money spent. Even for MX racing!
  3. I sent mine in yesterday. Wade was very pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions. Look forward to getting it back and trying it out!
  4. I use the MX31 for the front tire. The MX51 would either push or knife in on a corner, highly unpredictable. The MX31 for me works on the soft, loamy dirt or hard pack. If it is blue groove, all bets are off.
  5. What is turnaround time?
  6. Forgot all about this post. Bike shifts better now. Neutral is much harder to find which is a good thing while riding. Was it worth it? At $160 with cases already split to redo crank rod, yes! If my cases weren't already needing to be split, then no.

    2007 YZ450 running VP U4.4

I would agree with grayracer on this. I have been running U4.4 for about 3 years now. First on a 2007 YZ450F and now on a fully modded factory 2010 YZ450F. No problems with either bike. My 2007 had 60 hours on it when I changed out the piston the first time and no valve problems at all. I put in a high compression piston at that time. Didn't touch the head that time around. Valves were in spec still. At 85 hours, I sold the bike and got my new one. New owner has not had any issues with the bike either although he does run normal pump gas in it. I ran that bike for approx. 60 hours on U4.4 and had zero issues with it. You don't even need to drain the carb with the U4.4 like you had to do the older formula's.

    Go pro wind noise

Replace the solid back of the enclosure with the open backed one. Problem solved. The open backed one is for use with speeds under 100MPH..
  9. I have done some of my buddies' bikes with the less hit map (from Motocross Action magazine I believe)(found it: http://motocrossactionmag.com/Main/News/2013.aspx) and they love it. No snappy throttle down low which a lot of people complain about. Greg

    Stupid Flagman

Awesome. The flagger probably just figured no one pays attention to the blue flag anymore so why wave it!!

    Pressure washer

I use 2 capfuls of Era Detergent or Tide to 2 gallons of water in a 2 gal pressure sprayer. Rinse bike off...spray water/detergent mix on bike, wait 2-5 minutes, rinse off. Then dry the bike off. Very simple!!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gilmour-2-Gallon-Tank-Sprayer-16-Flexible-Wand-Yard-Lawn-Garden-Weeds-/261071936382?_trksid=p3284.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D21%26pmod%3D330317397823%26ps%3D54

    Rekluse EXP 2.0 adjustment?

I would say you have it perfectly adjusted. It should want to lightly jerk underneath you with no clutch lever pulled in. I also my idle set all the way up(personal preference) which would affect this also.
