    SPARKPLUG ENDURO APRIL 6TH, 2014

what a great day in the woods! great course with some lazy-ish speed averages to start and then a real beating after check six! I was a little bummed the club chose to run a bit short of trophies and only reward the top two in most classes...mauybe only cause i managed third...but other than that...GREAT DAY!!!

this combination helped me out at Shelton last year as i caught it while many did not...muahaha...(or maybe i was so damn slow that the rest put me back on time rather than ahead...) programming the ICO now...charging up the goPro and loading up the advil. next up i'll mix some gas and load my gear...if my body holds up it should be an epic day in the woods! :-) don't forget the damn discover pass!!!

zip ties are generally for reattching the pieces i am bound to tear off...my riding lacks grace... as for a tire...i'm a religious trials tire supporter...i've heard about some guys running a dessert IT tire with zero PSI though...i think it's a maxxis?

Enduros are a great way to wade in since it can be very laid back and you run your own pace...it's a really great way to find the best trails and meet some great people. If we hook up for a trail ride sometime I'll talk you into it!!

There's a lot of great riding to be had if you know where to look! Walker Valley is HUGE fun if you go with someone to show you where the good stuff is. There's a great group going up on the 15th if you inyerested. Also you absolutely can't go wrong with either of the NMA pojnts series (Enduro or offroad) I prefer the Enduros but some may disagree! :-) I;'ve met some amazinf riding partners and friends through joining the racing series.

    Looking for input on boots

I've got to go with Finchfan on this one...although maybe with slightly more tact :-) I have wasted a ton of money over the years on either crappy boots or ones that just didn't suit me...then i ponied up the cash for my Sidis and have never been happier...in the long run I know i'll save money as i would have spent $700 or more on 2 pair of lesser boots for the $550 i paid on my Sidis. They are the most comfortable and supportive boots I have ever owned and the only pair that have ever kept my feet dry! In addition they are so well made that I anticipate keeping them for a couple more years yet! I respect the budget issue but when you look at the long term you definitely get a better bargain at $550 than at $350... just my two cents...but let's face it...I'M BRILLIANT!

    KTM 300 Advice

the 300 is a wise choice...i'm not sure i could ever bring myself to be such a sheep as to buy a punkin bike though...to truly enjoy such a machine though you'll need to learn more heavy application of that twisty thing in your right hand...
