oh I get what you're saying. In my honest opinion I think I scored one heck of a deal when I bought it, (drove to Gympie from Brisbane) and I'm not into capitalising on my purchases (much lol) so I sold it for what I paid for it. In hind sight I think I could have sold it for around 3200, but I made someone else just as happy as me on the day I bought it! There's some worth in that don't you think? I may be in the market for another bike towards the end of the year,, I hope I can find another satisfying deal. Anyway, this about your project lol. Well done on the find, an 07 motor still nice & fresh. All the best,, H

I sold my 2000 model DRZ400 kick for $2500 a year back (what I paid for it) Nothing wrong with it. Went like a shower of sh*t b&b muffler insert, bigger main jet, modded airbox. Really, it flew

Have you changed to a Keihin FCR carb and better cam?

    Here's the lo-down on DRZ400 upgrades

Some really useful info here. I found the difference between kick models and e models to be most interesting. After owning a 2000 kick model, I thought jumping on a road version would be similar but I was well wrong. Different cams, different carb, the list goes on. http://www.4strokes.com/tech/suzuki/drz400su.asp
