  1. Thanks. How was power on the single w/ oem header? What is the OEM header made of? Wondering weight difference on FMF SS vs the OEM. I know ti would be cheaper but I dont know if I want to get the full system or just the slip on. I'm sure I can talk myself into the SS though if its necessary, but dont want to ADD weight to it!! I know I'll lose weight by getting rid of dual, but if its not much difference in power its not worth doing any of it i guess, unless I went full system.
  2. Anyone running just a slip on single, with a stock header? I know guys running a single fmf with megabomb header that love it, claim more power than the dual fmfs.... realistically wondering if its worth putting on just a single slip on w/ stock header, or if the header will be necessary to notice much improvement. anyone running stock header + any afermarket slip ons (single or dual).. how did it respond?

  5. OK, now that everyone has had plenty of time on their air fork equipped bikes.. what is the word? I did some searching and coudlnt find much. When 13s came out there was a lot of talk of it, and a lot of it negative, but my thought is that it was mostly people predicting things, or a lot of things they "heard" from people (who probably have no clue what they are talking about) What kind of problems have you experienced or witnessed first hand with them? I'm not talking tuning/performance, I mean leaky seals, forks collapsing, eating #*(#%^ from seals blowing out, etc I have only heard of a couple issues w/ the kaw, haven't heard of any w/ the honda. Lets hear it!
  6. im not having problems at a slower pace but when I try to push its just killing me... I've tried all sorts of settings but haven't found the magic numbers yet. It is so bad that little breaking bumps coming into corners that I don't even really SEE... are harsh enough that it has several times ripped my arm off the bars.... thats no good!!! low sped its fine, smooth track its fine.. turns great handles great, but on anything slightly rough it is just plain horrible..very busy and nervous feeling.

  11. Looking to get red hoses on my 13 rmz450. Can't find any 13 parts fische to see if OEM match 12s... cv4 isnt updated on their site. Does anyone know if the hoses from the 12 fit?? Any other cheaper options other than cv4 or motohose...?

  13. dont have my manual yet, its in the mail but wont be here til monday, rode today... couple of questions if anyone has a spare minute to look at it for me! 1. oil change. anything crazy / weird / unique I need to know? haven't rode suzukis since 01 125... need to change oil before I rode tomorrow, I think. I have 1.9 hours on it. Should I run it out on the break in oil another hour or 2 or change it now? need to know the quantity and procedure or if its just like any other bike... 2. noticed my forks are really high in the clamp..does the manual say anything as a starting point? 3. fork settings, dont know what they should be, would like to start with stock. front end felt pretty harsh coming into choppy corners.. i did set my rear sag at 100.. 4. fork pre load - does it say anything about recommended fork preload? thanks!!!
