yessir...few days ago when I ordered the plates...then had them sitting in a plastic bag...they seemed to absorb some oil.

The clutch springs were well within spec...I'm not sure of what they are...I'm hoping reg stiff OEM. All the clutch lifter parts looked nice...I just cleaned them up and greased the lifter interfaces with non moly grease. I rotated the clutch lever and felt the lifter shaft fall into place I did bend over the lock washer tab in a couple places touqued the clutch spring bolts and water pump impeller...

cleaned up and installed exhaust flange with new gasket. I expected this pipe seal to not have such a big gap?

    1984 CR250R magniseum corrosion fix

i just put a thin layer of black gasket sealer on the gasket on the repaired side...I left the other side of the gasket clean to make it easier to get impeller cover off. I didnt seal the rest of the JBWeld

Rings on...gaps over pins...circlips look seated well. Trimmed excess gasket material...I have a couple different new cylinder base gaskets to use that look good quality. I'm just waiting on cylinder locating pins before I can install the cylinder.

no marks on these...instructions say either side up... I went ahead and checked ring gap...I measured something like 0.002" ring gap with the ring positioned to the depth shown in the manual. PowerSeal provided the piston and rings for me as part of the nikasil recoat process so this is probably good-n-tight.
