2017 beta 300 rr head bolt

It is called a security bolt (allen and torx have them). The tool is literally a bit with a hole drilled in the end. But yea, use a hammer/punch and just break it off lol.

    Beta 125rr?

Go have a look at this bike. I spoke at length with this gentleman about the bike and the only reason I didn't buy it was because his son had it out of state at the time. https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/mcy/d/2015-beta-250rr-race-edition/6619335163.html

    Show me your...BETA !

We were out trail riding down at Hatfield and I had stopped to wait for the other guys. I walked over to the edge of the trail to water some rocks and as I'm standing there about to do my thing, this stick hits me in the boot. Wtf was that about? Then I hear the rattle. OH &%$#@! OH &%$#@! OH &%$#@! DON'T BITE ME IN THE DICK!!! as I'm stumbling backwards trying not to scream like a little girl OH NO, don't rattle as I'm walking up. Just strike first you &%$#@!. Ugh, took a while to calm down after that.

What did you do to your Beta today ?

They should be stamped with the minimum thickness somewhere near the mounting bolts.

Beta rr rs aftermarket wheel sources and options

Probably not too helpful unless you already have some 09-14 Italian Husky wheels , but the rears fit with +1mm added to each spacer. I haven't gotten around to the front yet but I have the Husky KYB forks on there and not the stock Sachs so not sure how that will work out yet. Oem Husky disc is the correct diameter too (240mm)

What did you do to your Beta today ?

Made up some new wheel spacers so I can use my extra Husky rear wheels on the Beta. Haven't gotten to the front spacers yet, might do that today.

What did you do to your Beta today ?

First race on the Beta this weekend. I stuck the Husky KYB forks on it and messed with the valving in the shock during the week. Fortunately both worked well for me during the race Race didn't start off great. Was a live engine start which I hate so much. Everybody suddenly becomes a professional motocrosser and it is a shit show I ended up getting back to 10th from dead last (30th). After getting going again I could hear this constant clicking sound that got louder the faster I went. It sounded like when you would put a playing card in the spokes of your bike as a kid. This pic shows the issue. It also polished that entire side of the wheel too

My poor little Husky gave up her forks today

Finally got her back together after having the frame replaced. Mmmm, she looks good.

    Tusk footpegs? Who runs them?

No, they had to be modified a little bit to fit my Husky as they don't actually make them for that bike (these were meant for a yamaha, they were too wide to fit in the frame mounts originally). I may have been slightly drunk when I modded them and didn't do a great job I did the replacement set a little bit nicer, not that you can even tell when they are on the bike. I did the same for my Beta, just very slightly modded some YZ pegs (width was fine but they were angled up a bit, little grinder action on the backside got them down flat).

    Tusk footpegs? Who runs them?

I've had a set on my Husky for almost 5 years. I put a fresh set on last summer because the old ones were getting pretty hammered. 5 stars.

    Shinko 505 Cheater

I've been running a 110 size 525 with a nitro mousse in it for 4 hare scrambles and 2 enduros on my Husky. Love it. I'll probably flip it for this weekend and maybe the next race, although I should have the Beta running by then. I am not a spinner/slider though which may be why it is holding up well. I ordered one for my Beta, just need to mount it up.
  14. Klim makes both OTB and ITB pants FYI. Plus you can get them in plain black and not look like a unicorn puked up a rainbow on you.
