  1. I can't help you find the plastic molded motocross track you're looking for, but a member here built a miniature motocross track for his kids last Christmas to fit on the train table the kids had: Mini Motocross Track Maybe he could help you out with pictures and ideas for building your own.
  2. I was wondering what happenned also. Found this: Punk'd Episode #54

DRZ400S has been sitting for a year

So besides gas, nothing else is likely to have gone stale? The bike was garaged for a year after being washed following a ride. No "winterizing" was done at all. Should I be worried about the oil having drained from the engine and tranny, such that until the pump starts there will be very little lubrication for the engine?
  4. Okay guys. It's time to hop back on the DRZ. The bike has been sitting for a year (due to a combination of living in a condo in the city and raising kids) and I need to know what should be done before crankin' her over for the first time. So far, I've emptied the old gas from the tank and cleaned out the carb. What other fluids should be changed, what should be greased, etc. Preferably, divide your list into stuff that absolutely must be done and stuff that probably should be done, so that I can prioritize a little. Thanks in advance.
  5. Yes it is, but they are pretty small bikes. I went through the same thing with my wife and ended up convincing her to learn manual shifting. She's done very well. You could always buy her a quad

San Francisco SX who will be there?

I'll be there with my wife and our 3 year old son. It'll be the first supercross for all of us. We got tockets in the family section to try and keep things clean for my boy. Can someone give me an idea of how much we'll be missing by not getting a pit pass?

    Quick release

In the lab I work in, we use these for some tubing connections: Quick-Disconnect Is that what you mean? They're pretty heavy, but there might be smaller ones out there.

I use one of these: Xena Alarmed Disc/Cable Lock Comprehensive insurance is a good idea too.

    Wreckers

Here you go: Motorcycle Salvage Yards The only one I can vouch for is Sac Cycle Motorcyle Dismantlers in Sacramento, CA. They helped me find a carb slide and diaphragm for my cousin's 1992 XT225.
  15. Here you go: TransAmerica Trail
