  1. Been out of the game for about 4 years. A 250 two stroke sure can make you feel like an idiot when you're trying to shake the cob webs out. Here's me farting around this morning with my GoPro.

Not yet. I'm always a little nervous about it. On the other hand, my first ttr never had a frame cradle on it and I destroyed two back wheels from jumping and never notices any frame damage. But then I have also heard of people destroying their frame/cases from jumping. The frame cradle is in the works. I may just end up buying one with my tax return

It was a little muddy but I couldn't resist hitting the new mini kicker.

The pod filter is a little vulnerable but all in all I'm beyond impressed on how well the bike performs.

Thanks! I've just been rocking the kick start with the ignition switch. I like it tho because you have a tiny bit of security lol

    Newbie TTR125 pilot jet?

You seem like you have some ttr jetting experience. I have a bbr exhaust and a pod filter running a 20 pilot and a 110 main at sea level. Should I step it up to 112.5 or a 115. Runs pretty good as is.

    Newbie TTR125 pilot jet?

Read the stickies and search! There is an idle screw. It is on the left hand side if the carb and step the pilot up to 17.5.

First test ride. Everything worked flawlessly.

Will a TTR 230/250 Be Enough Bike For Me? Suggestions?

I don't understand why the WR250F got overlooked. Too me it sounds like exactly what you are looking for. Great power, perfect woods bike, and as your son improves, you can too and your bike will not be the thing holding you back. They also have a pretty tall seat height and you can set the sag to your weight.

Yea it's definetely tucked away pretty good. Now I just have to be carefull around the big puddles/water crossings

Boom picked up a filter today. Actually fits in there really well. The boot has a slight angle too it. Mounted it so the filter is turning inward. The filter has a big spring inside it so it keeps it's shape, but the filter wedges itself up against the piggyback l and makes for a nice snug and out if the way fit. Pumped. It also seems like it runs perfect with a 20 pilot and a 110 main. But that's just revving it up in the driveway.

I will when I get the filter. It might get in the way a little bit but I have seen a few bikes running them so I figured it would be ok. I love my magic button. Not ready to take it off. Does it take any wiring to get the bike to run without the ignition switch?
