    Suzuki +1 valves in a z400

    any advantages to upgrading to a +1 valves in my athena 434 z400. Can i get some feedback on the positives and negatives for doing this.

  3. no mods to the suspension, it was a little stiffer then i expected it to be. i am not after a better ride quality, but am wanting to get more out of the engine. swapped out my paddles today after runing them across the field, then went out with my original 20" dunlops. i made a mistake getting the 21's because they actually sit 21.5" tall. may just have to go with some 20's. but anyway i had heard a small bit about cdi boxes and intake cams, mainly the cdi box is want i wanted some feed back on. has anyone changed there and what is your felling about the swop
  4. other mods with out opening the engine #784009 - 11/23/03 07:04 PM Edit Reply Quote i little help is want i am after, i own a 03 kfx 400 and have a few mods on it, white bros e series slip on and head pipe, air box mods with white bros air filter (came with the pipe) carb. has ben rejetted and slide has been drilled. i am running stock sprocket in the rear with a 13 tooth up front. i am heavy at 240 lbs. what i want to do is get more out of this without opening the engine. i am going to get the k-n air filter and adapter but i was condsidering ignition upgrade and would like some input on that aslo one other consideration is a cam or cams. i ride some trails but spend most of my time on big sand. i recently found out that my thumper didn't cut it at st. anthony's and we are planning to go to coral pink or little sahara utah this next year. i recently changed from junk geckos to skat trac extremes. the hook up is nice but i lost more bottom end again with the taller tire (21's). any suggestions would be appreciated.
