  1. Hi all, I am rebuilding the top end of my 2001 DR-Z400E due to compression reading of 105psi and using a1/3 qt of oil every 1000 miles. This bike has an FCR39 carburetor. I am using an Athena 435cc big bore kit (4mm over) to make it a straightforward, bolt-on operation. I do not know the current jet sizes, but it is set up for 5,000-10,000 ft altitude operation and runs perfectly, I have simply worn out a top end. I estimate this bike has now been ridden over 25,000 miles in the Rocky Mountain states. Does anyone have an idea of what jetting changes I might need to make with this big-bore kit? Thank you in advance. I ride this bike professionally doing remote survey work, so it must be sorted out correctly for safety and reliability. Thank you, Mark
