    Steering Head Lock removal

If I had to get that out I would drill the key at the best angle I could get and pull it out with a pick. You only need to drill deep enough to create an edge for your pick. Same method a lock smith would probably use.

    Steering Head Lock removal

I would just leave it and turn it to lock it as needed.

    Mud screen ideas

That screen may come apart if not welded together. We've used a section off of an old fender to increase length like your thinking. I found it best to use a rear flap. It's more flexible and will shake the mud off of itself.

    Clutch pull options

It does disengage. Doesent pull as far but it's 50% easier to pull. Modded it back in 09 on my kx450 and still running it with my 2.0 Rekluse

    Clutch pull options

Here is a no cost option and it works great. It's the stock lever I modded.

    Help with skidplate

I have the Cycra one. Put it on new in 09. Has held up really well. All woods riding.

    rubbing rear brake pads

Make sure the caliper moves freely on the guide pins and make sure the piston moves easily within the caliper itself. Caliper could need rebuilt if it's sticking and not fully letting the pressure off.

    Removing Subframe on '09 Kx450f

Pry tab gently. It takes a more effort to pull it apart because it's a watertight plug. Apply some dielectric grease before you reconnect.

    Inner cartridge bleed question

Yes, I did drill the piston. I bled it again but still leaves 2in. of rod still left to pull out.

    Inner cartridge bleed question

Thanks. That what I was thinking. I've bled it twice but getting same results.

    Inner cartridge bleed question

09 KX450 They feel the same as they did before I took them apart to change valveing.
  15. Should the damping rod extend all the out on its own after bleeding. Mine stops with 4 or so inches that I have to pull out.
