    2015 KLX140L Build

I don't have the bike anymore, but yes it was big improvement . I bought a 24mm flatslide Makuni, and use a piece of PVC pipe from Home Depot , sprayed it black clamped it in . Worked great , you can get carbs with different diameter dementions.

    2015 KLX140L Build

Hey, SWEET, I did that build, you should also put the KX 65 carb. Mod. On it. I got a 24mm makuni flatslide , had to get a throttle cable made by Motion pro, wakes the bike up even more.

KLX Exhaust Recommendation - TB, FMF, PC, BBR?

Ok, l googled it, ( klx140 bigger carb. ) and it got me the name of the guy I got it from. His name is Yomo on TT, we actually used the carb off the KX 65 , I got mine off EBay , and also have to get a throttle cable made by motion pro. I know your thinking that a two stoke carb, but it works. Google it , and it will bring up all the instruction on how he did it. Make a big change, but not too much for kids, just a lot better response.

KLX Exhaust Recommendation - TB, FMF, PC, BBR?

Sorry, just remember switching out the pilot jet a few times to reduce the decell. Popping. One of the techs on TT did it also, I followed what he did.

KLX Exhaust Recommendation - TB, FMF, PC, BBR?

I had one of those , did the whole mod. KX 100 suspension, air box mod, went up to a 24 mm meckuni flat slide carb. With a Procircuit T4 pipe, little bike was a lot better , I jetted spot on , took a while, but had no popping at all on decell. Which you may get at first until you play with the jetting.

    kx 100 forks

You can go as far back as 2007, the little bike has not changed much, use either kx 85, or100 forks. They will bolt right on.

    klx140 choke relocation

Are you doing any mods tothe bike ? If you put a pipe on it, do the air box mods, and jet it properly, you wont even need the choke. My bike can sit for weeks, and I can start it without the choke.
  14. Is it possible, or has anybody thought about venturing into this sort of project? What els can you do to help out the breaking system?

    KLX140/KX65 Carb Mod

You have to splice the air box tube with a 2'' peace of PVC, the other end will bolt right up. You may have to get a custom throttle cable made ( Motion Pro ), knows what to do . My 24mm Makuni flat slide was on the tall side, so i needed a 90 % bend on the throttle cable. It really is simple, and the bike runs so much better after you jet it. Hope this helps, Good Luck.
