    pics on changing oil screen

Just cleaned mine, and am glad I did. Had a good amount of crap on it. But hey its better to be on that than floating around in your motor. Took some pictures. First lay the bike on the right side. Take off the ignition cover and the oil line going to it. Youll see four silver screw (9.8 NM tourque) on the lower righthand side of the case (this picture the screws are already out http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/8519032562.jpg&s=x11 Remove the screws and youll see the screen http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/8519034131.jpg&s=x11 Remove it and clean it http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/8519023762.jpg&s=x11 http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/8519030759.jpg&s=x11 Put all back together, and no you dont need a new gasket, its metal... Check out the pimp azz blue overflow hoses and fuel line, and sexy hand

    Im BACK

Well after A year and a half switch to street riding/track days on my 08 zx10 I sold her and picked me up an 09 kx450. Missed the moto scene and that compeition felling, that gets expensive on a sportbike. Took her out to red rock mx this past weekend in texas. Man shes a beast, but damn that stock suspension sucks, its deff going to need some work. If anyone else wants that diagram of the tensioner tool shoot me a pm. Think I must have had 15 people asking for it in the inbox.

    K&N review

Well i pulled the backfire screen out and installed the KN airfilter, its kinda a tight fit, you have to squish the hell out of it to get it in there. I also installed the quickshot at the same time. ON the track it seemed to be a tad snappier off bottom. No night and day difference, the real noticable difference came when i pulled the seat off. There was hardly any dirt on it, usually a twin air is clogged. This was damn near clean. Was it worth it, yes in my mind since i spent the money. If your an offroad rider, its prob worth it.

    Special tool diagram

If you didnt know, you need to make your own special tool to hold the cam chain tensioner in the reset position while you reinstall it. I made up a little diagram that is in the SM manual. Only needs to be about as thick as #3 flathead screwdriver at the tip http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=12/35715173079.jpg&s=x12

race teams are using them. Like Destroy Abbot, look how much his stuff is blowing up. Ive ran them, and was very displeased with it. Dont waist your money....

    K&N review

it was nice to clean. But the damn thing lets dirt through......... Next time you do a top end, take a look at your cylinder walls. Infact, smear some grease on the inside of your airboot before applying the filter, then take a look at it next time you clean the K&N, youll see fine dust....

That track was by far one of the best ive riden, and ive riden with Voss at cycle ranch tx and talked with him and had him say that cycle ranch is the best track in the country...

more than you think...... Look at it this way, you can buy a cheap bike and get treated like shit whenever you buy parts. Or you can buy a bike that maybee alittle more pricey, but the dealer will take better care of you...

Need Help Choosing a Slip-on Silencer

I wouldnt run any of the ones you have choosen. From spending countless time at the track, i have seen all these mufflers break due to poor welds, specially FMF. In my opinnion the best exhaust out there, and why do you need it, if your looking for the best bang for your buck is the leo vince. But if youve got a hole burrning in your pocket, you would be better off with some insurance on the bike. Many people dont understand that homeowners and auto insurance typically do not cover dirt bikes. So if your bike gets stold, your screw'd. Just my 2 cents though....
