  1. I'm nearly positive that I saw some Red Bull graphics in the power parts catalog. Actually it may have been Ktm-Parts. Perhaps they jusy don't want anybody using the new plastics.
  2. I'm pretty sure I've seen those before. Unfortunately I really haven't been riding much lately anyways. I'll definitely have to check Fannin out sometime. But I'm pretty sure I saw you at DP a few weekends ago.
  3. Yep I'm not a big fan of the dirt here. It's either concrete or sloppy muck at best. Some places aren't bad too bad though. Bremen is almost powdery, and Monroe has some loam too it.
  4. They seem to be pretty quality boots! I've heard they're fairly narrow due to the tow box though, and I've got duckfeet. My Tech 10's are almost to narrow. I've only been out to Monroe, Bremen, HP, and DP. Never really bothered to go down South. Don't really know that I'm quite ready for true sand anyways.
  5. Ah, southern GA. I tend to stay up north. Those Jett boots look real nice though. How do you like them.
  6. We have sand tracks in Georgia? But I did see you're post on GOR about you're gear, what a scumbag. What track is this?

    2004 crf250r or 2007 YZF250?

If he's trying to push you towards one, he probably wants to get rid of that one the most. As a fellow KTM rider, go blue.

Anybody know how the spoke wraps hold up and look?

    2010-12 RMZ Plastics

Nope, this isn't a question. I've stumbled upon somebody who has done the conversion. Link: http://forum.mxsimulator.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11945&p=265724#p265724 Update: He put up some pictures of graphics and him riding it. Looks like the hardest part after making the tank would be manipulating the rear fender to graft onto the old one. That seems to be what he did.
  11. I don't believe this was staged. This was supposed to be a part of the Derek Andersen video before this one. I'm pretty sure he's got dealer backing as well, so it probably won't be coming completely out of his wallet.

    RMZ 250 or YZ250F

I'm in the same boat as you at the moment. My thinking on this situation is pricing. For the RMZ's I don't mind going back to 2010 and finding a better price since the changes weren't too drastic. The Yamaha on the other hand, I would rather have a 2012 due to the updates and yet wouldn't turn down a 2010 or 11. It does seem that the Yamaha is much more available and is usually quite a bit cheaper. When the time comes for me it's all going to be about availability and pricing.

2011 should be exactly the same.

Some MX Pics from last weekend

I was there too last weekend. Did you do the Yamaha Demos? I remember seeing you out there too JohnKX250F.

    2010 yz250f vs 2011 ktm 250sxf

I rode the 2011 YZ250F this weekend and it was just solid. I don't know if you're aware but the 2011 and 2010 YZ250F are the same. I think if I had the choice I would go with the YZ. I'm a KTM fan but it seems they've been having problems with their EFI. They get clogged quite a bit and just tend to fail.
