    06 kx250f yoshimura rs2 jetting

hey guys i was wondering if anyone has ran the yoshi rs2 on an 06-08 kxf and what type of jetting you're using for a base. i called yoshimura and they claim they can no longer give out jetting specs for some reason or another. im not looking for perfect but just somewhere to start. any info on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

    09 kx250f valve adjustment

There is no OEM shim size. Each valve is slightly a different length. So they can't just have size OEM shim.

    2009 Cam Chain Tensioner Orientation

You freshened up the top end as in valves? or just a piston?

    2009 Cam Chain Tensioner Orientation

The tensioner should be in to keep the cams at the correct poiotion while the piston is at top dead center. Make sure you are at top dead center when measuring the clearance. Your timing may be off a tooth and that will give you an off reading. If the cam is slightly in the wrong position your readings will not be right.

    linkage bearing rubber seals

Us a flat blade screwdriver and try and pry it up from the inside. If that doesnt work use a good sturdy hook pick and they come right out with a little force

Clutch issue, I need a hand.....

What happends when you have the bike in gear and you hold the rear brake without pulling in the clutch lever?

    Adjustable camshafts

I understand hiw the adjustable cam works i just wasnt sure if they had one designed for the kx to make it easier. With an adjustment you can do it with the cam in the bike but not if i need to press it off everytime. Thanks

    wiseco pistons?

And in jwalk's defence if ring end gap was too tight it would cease. If it was too loose it wouldnt run. That would not cause the piston to break. But regardless alot of wiseco pistons do come out of spec. Oem is the best bet. The stock piston is a really good strong piston.

    Adjustable camshafts

Do you guys know any company that makes adjustable cams for the kx's? Ive found them on tokyo mods for the crf's but i cant seem to find them anywhere for the kx250f. Thanks

    New Kibblewhite Valves...

Well no part lasts forever. And yes you need the spring kit also. Titanium weighs about 40% less than stainless steel. The reason you need the spring is to avoid valve float. If you use heavier valves the stock springs will be struggling to lift the extra weight of the valve. The valve needs to shut before the piston reaches it and in order to keep correct timing. Think of it like this. If you take a ten pound log and throw it, you can launch it much faster and much farther rather than if you were to throw a fifteen pound log. Technically you might beable to get away with stock springs. But it is certainly not right.

    2007 kx250f *New* *Need help!*

The hammer would be to make sure the shim doesnt shatter from impact. If it wont shatter with a hammer it wont shatter from a cam lobe hitting it through a tappet.

    2007 kx250f *New* *Need help!*

Ill take a ground down shim and give it a few good wacks with a hammer. That should put everyone to ease. Its a piece of stainless. I wouldnt think they would shatter. Its just nice to do instead of running to the shop if your out of that one size shim.

    I searched before posting

Ive always found that the es foul out a lot faster. Thats my opinion

    2007 kx250f Cracked Cases

Seriously do not pay 2400 to fix that bike. You can buy a nice 07 for $2400. Whoever gave you that price is completely trying to rip you off. Sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear but its the truth. Save yourself some $
