    WR250 vs WR450

After doing much research today I'm leaning towards a WR250F to give myself that oomph compared to what the WR250R puts out. Then get one of the off-road kits and make it road legal. I'm just over the border in MA. Hopefully it's not an issue otherwise I'll have to resort registering elsewhere.

    WR250 vs WR450

Good info. Based on this would I be safe to assume most 250F models will not have a road legal title? I'd assume it would have the statement of not for highway use? What are the differences between the R and F model?

    WR250 vs WR450

I should also add I will be using this bike exclusively for trails 2nd-3rd gear single track. Potentially jumping onto roads for longer dual sporting trips, but nothing longer than 10-15 minutes worth of road. I'd have no intentions of track racing with it and I'd consider myself a pretty decent rider considering my past with the 250 2T.

    WR250 vs WR450

Morning all, I was hesitant on posting, but I'll just go for it. I had my 03 CR250 stolen in October of 2018 so I've decided to replace it with something a bit different for this year. A little info on me: - Riding for 10+ years in trails with 4-5 years exclusively 250 2 strokes. -Bike background - 1993 DR350S dual sport (sold) - 1998 YZ250 (sold) - 2003 CR250R (stolen) - 2005 FZ6 for street (own) I am 6ft about 230lb before gear at this time. Hopefully that will be down before riding season. I've been curious about the WR bikes for quite sometime now and thought about getting another Enduro/Dual sport bike. After doing much research I am convinced that one of these will do the trick, but I am strongly pulled towards the 450 model due to my previous bikes and size. For anyone who has 2 Stroke background have you gone to a WR and regretted a 250 for lack of power, or regretted a 450 due to weight or any other reason? I know some are going to toss out there to get a road legal 2 strokes. Yes that is an option, but I'd also like to explore the newer style 4 strokes since I haven't had too much exposure to them. My budget is pretty low with a my wedding coming up this year amongst other household updates. So trying to stay under $3k would be best. I've seen a few of these bikes in my area for around that price.

Stolen Bike. Mass/CT line Move post if in incorrect area

I don't see anyone getting it back, but myself, or from a poor soul that buys it from him and then they try to register it and get screwed. That's what I'm running off of is someone registers it and comes back stolen. I'm already looking for another bike anyways. I can't let it hold me from not riding. Hopefully the bike turns up someday.

I had multiple Craigslist ads posted and someone contacted me saying he was given a video from someone of my exact bike. This middle man supplied me with all the Facebook chats, videos, and the Facebook marketplace ad. It was all sent to him from the same guy. The kid who took it video taped it outside of his house and doing a walk around. I still have the video saved on my phone.

Thread update. Still no bike starting the new year. There was reports made and officers searched the area. Nothing was found. I ended up doing more research then the city police department and found it for sale on Facebook. The bike was for sale in Worcester MA and he posted the ad with a fake photo from...where else... TT. He grabbed someone else's bike and posted it . He was using a fake last name and the police were not able to track him. After more digging on Facebook and his Instagram through his friends lists I found his real last name and gave that to the police while I was waiting for an officer. Gave them that info and we got a hit. Ended up being some gang kid. Overall I know who took it, I know where it was and I had video proof from a middle man who was helping me find it. Unfortunately he sold it to someone else who has been posting him riding it on Instagram and with no face or name, I've got nothing to go with. At this time bike is still in Worcester MA. Last seen riding around 122A.

    Stolen Bike. Now what?

What's up TT, Late last week I had my 03CR250 stolen from my sister's property. They cut the chain, sliced my straps, and took it right off the trailer. This is my first time having a bike stolen and I'm not sure how to handle this. I have already posted all over CL, Facebook, and downloaded most selling apps which could be used for a potential sale. I had a lead which lead me to having the police check the property out. They never called me back, but when I called them the next day they stated they tried to contact the home owners to check something but the owners would not answer the door. The property is super sketchy, empty white work van which was potentially used, and a garage. I have a feeling the officer saw something in the garage which lead him to contact the home owner and about 10 minutes after he left the station he asked for the VIN from me. Rant over. What have you done when a bike was stolen from you? I am absolutely livid and can't stay off CL and selling sites it's driving me insane.

All, Please keep your eyes peeled. I just had my 2003 CR250R stolen two days ago. We were out of town and it was taken. Chain was cut with bolt cutters, straps cut off and it was removed from my trailer. Any information please contact me via TT or my cell 774-289-5569. Thank you. As seen below photos are accurate as of 2 weeks ago. New Plastics NO graphics except for Factory Honda on left and right side of swingarm. Has gold Ohlins steering dampener on front fender and red spoke covers. Gold handlebars with red hand guards. Bike was located in upper Connecticut near Massachusetts border.

    MA Riders

I know this is an old post but I'm local to Hodges Dam and am recently riding solo. Anyone in the area is welcome along. Due to new home purchase it's been months since I've ridden. Going out today!
  14. Hey all, Looking to see if there is any adapters for fatbars for my current handguards. I had 7/8 bars when I got my bike and upgraded to 1 1/8. Now the clamps don't fit. Is there replacement ones for fat bars? I thought I saw them previously on RMATVMC but I cannot seem to find them. Thanks in advance!
