Acerbis supermoto front fender looks great imo, but that's mostly just for looks. What mods have you done already?

Sounds like we have similar priorities. One of the things that draws me to the 200 is the smaller, lighter design, so the bigger frame seems like a step in the wrong direction. I'd also like to have the lighting capabilities (so long as the stator is up to it and the wiring harness setup, I can handle getting an aftermarket light if need be). I'm not sure about the close ratio/wide ratio gears. Ideally I think the wider set would be more useful given the intended use I have. That said, I am sure I could get by fine with the close ratio. If I could just find one that's not clapped out and a 6 hour drive away... I've mostly been watching facebook marketplace and craigslist. A few have popped up, but they are usually sold by the time I get ahold of the seller. I'll keep watching like a hawk...

When I bought my DRZ, it had a fmf powerbomb header and a different slip on. I'm not sure if thats what your'e trying to do, but if so, it will work.

Nice Score! Any reason you were looking for 05s in paricular? I've been searching too. As far as I can tell, in 04, they got new plastics and suspension, and then 07 they get multiple ignition maps, but then in 08 they go to the full size frame. I was thinking 07 was the year to have, but I am no expert by any means.

I don't remember if I used the original or not. Maybe someone else here will chime in...

I bought just the blue needle on eBay for $10. I don't anticipate ever needing the red one, and I guess the guy I bought it from felt the same way about the blue one. I also bought the Jets separately.

Yeah I'm in southern United States, and yesterday was actually the first rideable day in a while. Not much snow here, but freezing temperatures, and lots of rain (don't ask me how those don't combine for snow)

Ooh that sounds fun. Not to hijack your thread, but how is it organized, etc? I always thought it would be cool to set something like that up around here.

What kind of races you doing on a drz?

If you get SM wheels, you can put larger rotors on the 18/21 wheels and a spacer bracket to it fit, and get a bit of performance upgrade. You can choose sprockets that are close enough that you can assist them to the right tension without changing the length of the chain

wrapping up the DRZ, heated seat, heated grips, custom 3d printed parts, suggestions welcome

Just so you know, I've not heard great things about namura Pistons. Sounds like you're mostly focused on electronics now though. -
I haven't seen one in person, and I don't know for sure, but my guess is it has something to do with emissions? It looks from the pic like it is some sort of tube or cable going from the exhaust to the carb, or maybe up to the wiring harness somehwere?

Thanks to all for help with carb issues, also new plastic/graphic content.

It's amazing how much better that new fender looks -
Sounds like you need to give it a shot!

Anybody know the thread pitch, size, and length for the stator bolts? I want to order some vibration resistant ones (in addition to loctite) so I don't find myself in this situation again any time soon
