    Chain issues!!!!???

Dougster, yeah j google images the chain guide, and I don't have it. Gotta pick one up! But I just swung by my local shop and picked up a black colored chain from DID. $70 freaking dollars for the thing man. But the guy said it has awesome tensile resistance or something and said I couldn't to wrong. Also that DID is a great chain! Theyre master links are practically universally used for 90% of chains. But everyone relax man. I have never had a problem with my chain before so I never had to fix it. Therefore I don't know anything about chain guides and adjuster bolts. This is all new to me! As for the chain question, me asking for suggestions on a brand... I could go and pick up any old fvcking chain off of oemcycle which is an awesome site btw! But I'm asking for people's opinions on a good chain. Cuz like I said I've never had a problem with mine till now. @choppertown, if I knew that that was the solution, I wouldn't has posted this fvckin post! That simple* Man! But I didn't know so I asked a question, and possible help to absolution. Sorry for the hostility but I get these sarcastic comments/remarks, time and time again. After awhile it gets to ya! Well to me at least. :foul:But I bought the bike off of craigslist for $1100 so of course it's gonna be all wacked out and in need of some fixing! I've put $800 into it already!

    Chain issues!!!!???

Slowtreme, I have no idea man. The only time ive ever messed with my chain is when i removed it so i could take my front sprocket off so I could replace my crank. Hopefully I'll figure everything out tomorrow! HOPEFULLY lol but it's 12am here in dirty jerz. My ass is in bed.

    Chain issues!!!!???

Look at the link Ron_m! Look at how much slack the chain has. It seems like the axel shifted. But my chain is beat anyway so do you have any suggestions on chains? Who makes a good chain?

    Chain issues!!!!???

Frdbtr, my chain guide is completely worn out! But I haven't checked the axel nut and/or chain adjusting bolt I will tomorrow! But I'm pretty sure it's the stock chain. Any suggestions on chains frdbtr? And dirt-rich, I don't think it would stretch as much as it did. I'm almost certain it's the axel shifting. I could be wrong tho!! But I took a vid of the slack on my chain. It's crazy how much room there was!! Check it out:

    Chain issues!!!!???

That is a good possibility! And most likely the reason! I do not see any other possibility. What would cause it to shift? Is there a way to prevent it? And how do I move it back to the original spot?

    Air leak

Hmm it was sucking in soap, so I figured that was it Seanmx57. Didn't know that couldn't be a problem area for air leaks. But since there is not any leaks coming from the gaskets or exhaust port, I'm gonna start with the Airboot like CR15 said! So how do I check the air boot, same soap method?

    Chain issues!!!!???

So over the past few days my chain has went from tight to extremely loose. I was riding today and it got even worse. I decided to head back to my friends steve's truck and call it a day before I damage anything. Well on my way to turn around, my chain popped off the rear sprocket. That happened twice. I was going easy so it wouldn't happen again and it popped @ the master link. So I was towed by steve and his quad. What can cause this to happen with my chain? I don't know why it loosened up so much!?

    Air leak

Well using the soap water technique, I found the leak. I sprayed the base gasket line and the head gasket line on my left side. No leaks. I sprayed my right side and my power valve sucked the soap in. I took the cover off and peeled the gasket off. The gasket was beat up! Luckily I had an extra one lying around!! Thanks y'all

    Air leak

Look who it is, my buddy fdrbtr lol but Wow man i didn't even see the sticky up there, Sorry about that and thanks bro. Really helpful! And wouldn't be the crank seals, I did them when I replaced my crank and piston.

    Air leak

So I just replaced my base gasket on my cylinder. But it still sounds like I have an air leak! Could this possibly be from a messed up or bad head gasket? It only sounds like I have the leak when I ride her hard! Hopefully it's nothing to serious! I will post a video if needed.

    Lowering front sprocket

Sorry, well is there any way to compensate for the loss of speed then? Or is there no way around this?
