    Brake bleeding

THE ONLY GOOD WAY TO BLEED YOUR BRAKES IS TO GET ONE OF THE OLD STYLE PUMP OIL CANS, YOU KNOW THE ONE THAT UNSCREWS AT THE TOP AND YOU POUR THE OIL IN, HAS ABOUT A 5 INCH SNOUT ON IT. CLEAN IT OUT AND FILL IT WITH BRAKE FLUID, PUT A PIECE OF HOSE ON IT AND CONNECT IT TO THE BLEEDER ON THE CALIPER, MAKE SURE YOU BRAKE MASTER LID IS OFF. OPEN THE BLEEDER SCREW AND PUMP THE BRAKE FLUID THRU THE SYSTEM. WORKS PERFECT EVERY TIME.. NO AIR.. PERIOD...END OF STORY

  3. I have a 01 wr-426 and love the bike, the only thing bad is the weight...Just bought a CRF-450 At 47 years old the 30 lbs lighter made a big difference for me..

    xr or wr

i owned a 97 xr-400 for 2 1/2 years and really enjoyed. bought an 01-wr-426 and never rode the xr again..kept the xr for a year, let a few other guys ride it and all i did was the up-keep,,, sold it a couple weeks ago and glad i did...don't get me wrong i think the xr is a great bike but the wr was a better choice for me..

    How old are you ?

46, 205 lbs, 5-10 ride 1-2 x's week but on the mind right now mostly trail riding, so desert
  9. I noticed today while riding my 01-wr-426 it bogged a couple times, not bad it came right out of it but it's never done that. I'm running 102 octane now and has always ran good. It was real warm today, maybe the heat made the difference ??? When it's hot outside do you raise or lower the octane ???

    Using race gas

A friend of mine was at the local yamaha shop this weekend and they told him not to run race gas in his wr250f, they said it's doesn't work good in this engine. has anyone heard this or experienced this ???

    Race gas. What's the sknny?

I've tried just straight pump gas and then went to 110 octane, mix it 3 gal's of pump gas to one gal of race gas...makes it about 102-104 octane.. 01 wr-426 runs much, much better...well worth the time it takes to go buy race gas and mix it... chuck
