  1. First post - very optimistic for a solution - one giant headache - clutch went out on me so I went to the easiest fixes first - new plates & springs, both under service limit. put everything back together but now the clutch plate lifter(right side) doesn't seem to be far enough out against the pressure plate which is causing zero resistence on the other side where the clutch cable connects to another clutch lifter arm. What I've found is that a lot of these plate lifters have bearings in them and I could have lost it but am not sure - anyone know if this year and model should have a bearing in that peice???? Any other thoughts??
