    2017 250FX headlight install idea

I like this idea. If only I could find a connector to plug in. I could buy a fan kit just for the plug. I hate hacking into wiring.

    2017 250FX headlight install idea

I found the color wiring diagrams. Looks like the Brown wire is connected to the main relay. Now I'm thinking on taking power directly from the brown wire through a fuse to power the lights. Is it this simple?? Or to use the fan relay i could just ground the pink and blue wire making the relay triggered by the brown wire. thoughts?
  4. I would like to install a headlight on my FX and reading other posts it seems like most others are taking switched power from a brown wire to a relay to power the light. The fx comes with a fan relay and fuse and connector ready to go. Since im not going to use the fan i was thinking on using the brown wire to switch the fan relay rather then use the oem relay and fuse for the lights. Would be nice be nice to find a fan connector to reduce the wire hacking necessary. Any thoughts on why this wouldn't work or is a bad idea??

    2006 yz250f kickstarter

aluminium frame kickers are all compatible. the aluminum frame kickers rub on the steel frame. the steel frame kickers work fine on the aluminium frames. the reason they put years on the kickers is because the original part numbers for the year of kicker. they changed the kicker profile while the splines stayed the same.

    KYB fork innertubes

Im looking to repair a spare set of forks i have for my 2008 yz250f. I have looked in the KYB catalogue for innertubes part 79.3 but they are unavailiable. i dont want to spend the extra money on the complete innertube. Do they still sell the tubes for my bike? will the newer tubes from a 2014 & up work? heres the catalogue im referring to. http://www.technicaltouchusa.com/fileadmin/sitecontent/pdf-files/2018_KYB_Genuine_Parts_Catalog_compressed.pdf

    yz250f woods revalve 2008 250f forks

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what 15-17 into the recess means. Valving is currently stock. Forks are not apart yet. I have lots of shims from a spare set of wrecked forks, so I'll try anything
  15. I have a 2005 yz250f with 08 yz250f forks. I am a B rider in xc/enduro. Most of my riding is in the woods ( roots, rocks and tree stumps) single track and the rest are somewhat whooped out trails mostly 4th gear. I thought my forks were decent until I spent some time on a stock 2017 yz250fx. I would like to revalve my forks. I have done some research and have come up with a few options. Option 1- copy the fx shim stack in my forks. Option 2 - take the stock 250f stacks and remove one or two 32mm shims from the base valve and remove 1 20mm shim from the main valve. I have put my weight, height, skill level into the racetech spring searcher and my springs are ok for my weight and my sag is set to 100mm. I would appreciate and suggested valve stacks. Thanks
