    Husqvarna TX 300 first rides

For anyone reading this with an 18' Messed around with the carb this evening, im at 6000' elevation testing this in the garage/down the road. i ride between 7000' and 12000' 27.5 pilot 430 main 43-75 needle on postion 1 Air screw 1.25 turns out. Have a FMF turbinecore 2 spark arrestor on it and the air box cut open on the right side. 50:1 fuel mixture This thing is alive now it seems, and wow the power is very linear. Still going to get the jd kit because i feel i will need some more options on needle and main jet.

You did all that to change the jets?!?! All i did on mine was turn the fuel off, loosen the air boots and tilt the carb to the side and take the float bowl off. Long screwdrivers and long socket for the slide. Sent from my SM-G900P using ThumperTalk mobile app

Well.... that blows, looks like I'll be contacting them to send mine back as well, figured the carbs were the same since the jetting sucks balls on both 17' and 18' so stupid.... Thank you though for mentioning that because mine arrived today. Sent from my SM-G900P using ThumperTalk mobile app

just picked up a 2018 tx300 on Saturday.. rode on sunday haven't ridden in 5 years, last bike was a 2004 Honda crf250 with suspension professionally done and holy hell the suspension is amazing on this TX right out of the box, will probably drop some air pressure in the fork and maybe slightly adjust the rear.. but it floats over everything. I ordered a JD jet kit because i couldn't get it lean enough with the supplied jets/needles but wow what a nimble bike, I got so confident so quick on it and was trying out obstacles that I never would have tried on the Honda in the past. put 3 hours on it running very rich.. not a bad thing for break in. first impression: worth the 10K$ because I don't have to do anything to it except re jet the carb and maybe put some protection on it, skid plate/handgaurds.
