  2. Have you tried adjusting your mixture screw? Sounds like you may be running rich. Check your air filter too.
  3. So here's what's up. My 1981 Yamaha SR250 runs and idles pretty well with no air filter or anything hooked up to the carburetor. When I put a pod filter on it, it becomes very hard to start, stutters and misses, chokes out, won't take throttle, etc. should I re-jet my carb or do I have a different problem? There is also a large hole in the expansion chamber (under swing arm hinge) of my muffler. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
