  1. The plate is on the Ulna bone. my doc said that it will take a long time to heal and he is going to stitch the wound area for quicker recovery!
  2. DrMark,Thanks for your Response! I know I am in for immobility for atleast a month I am seeing doctor tomorrow and I hope to get some good news. Will the stiffness resultant from the immobilization go away in time/physio therapy or it is permanent immobility ? my last message missed attachment, can you view it here : http://www.flickr.com/photos/22076652@N04/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/22076652@N04/
  3. History of this elbow surgery: I had fall and borke my elbow bone. I had an ORIF surgery with a plate and 5 screws fixed on my elbow. I was recovering well in 3 weeks of my surgery and was moving towards my Physio therapy by the end of 4th week. Unfortunately during my recent doctors visit they mentioned that there was small infection on my elbow skin which has created a pore on my elbow and they could see my surgery plate during my dressing I had a wet-to-dry dressing and my infections are reduced and skin is looking good but however the surgery plate is still visible during dressing. How long is the estimated wait time for the Elbow skin (wenis) to heal ? Elbow skin will have to grow to cover 0.5 - 1.0 centimeter wound radius on my elbow, attached is a wound picture with the green surgical visible on my elbow. Please share your thoughts as I am pretty discomforted with this wound.
