  1. Lol I've never seen that tie down method before
  2. Hairspray method works great, I've done it with and without the safety wire. No problems with either.
  3. haha napa is where I was originally getting the ecm's...@ $15 bucks each
  4. Thanks guys I'm gonna go ahead and start using the br8es plugs. No o'reileys auto parts here (Canadian eh) and the place that does order them over charges
  5. My bike is a 2010 250 sx. The spark plug the manual says to use is a br8ecm. Can I substitute a cheaper plug? These things are running $15 a piece and they're not easy to find where I live. Heard rumor a br8es works but does it matter if the threaded part of the plug is longer?
  6. What elevation do you ride at? I currently have a 180 main and that's gotta be wayyyy too fat. Plug looks like garbage and I usually foul a plug every couple months
  7. Where did you order the necj needle from I'm having a bitch of a time hunting one down.
  8. On troll threads like this the OP is trying to get everyone to hate on a brand he/she dislikes. Would people feel better if there was a thread for each brand stating how great said brand is? I have to brand preference, just happen to like 2 strokes. Since Ktm is the only company making these (aside from 8 year old new yz's) I own one. It also happens to be an awesome bike which I'm going to ride the ever living shit out of.
  9. It's comparable to a modern bike in terms of power if you install the tightest powerband.
  10. Man that's &%$#@!in deadly!
  11. Oops for the double post
  12. there might be something to this, your bike should last that long without an air filter as long as your not following constantly in someone's dust cloud. The dirt in the air boot has to be the culprit though. How else could it enter the system if not the filter itself or a leak somewhere between the boot and carb? there might be something to this, your bike should last that long without an air filter as long as your not following constantly in someone's dust cloud. 13. You shouldn't be getting ANY amount of dirt past your air filter. Are you cleaning properly and applying enough air filter oil? Another thing might be your not seating the air filter all the way. I know on my '10 250sx you can fit the air filter cage and it seems to be in but it's not actually seated all the way. Gotta watch that.
  14. I've bought 2 dirtbikes and a dual sport from kijiji. All were private sales, and have been problem free bikes.
  15. Water in the carb?
