    Thanks Ernie. Been trawling this forum and KTMTalk for info, but can't seem to find anyone who has made the switch. The carby fits, it's the brass that is the puzzle. Told my pal to order a selection of jets and needles from the latest spec 200 jetting table.

    Anyone running a 36mm Keihin on the 150s? Friend of mine switched to one and needs some base jetting suggestions. I'm wondering if the 2016 200 XC-W settings would work as a starting point and we can fine tune from there

    Jetting is never a one size fits all exercise. I also run the JD kit, but I had to make a couple of small adjustments to get it spot on where I wanted it

    Check that your carb's breather hoses are in good shape and not melted or clogged closed. A melted hose caused that problem on my old my Husaberg TE300

    For me the bigger issue is whether your air filter is sealing properly. Check the lower right side of the filter by trying to get your fingers into the airbox around the edge of the filter. Had a massive gap on mine

    Why not get it to an engineering shop and get them to weld it up?
  11. Pilot jet is too big. Buy a couple smaller sizes and experiment. Jetting chart in the manual should be a good place to start

    Tubliss and tire choice

    I've been using the Mitas C-18 yellow stripe and Mitas C-19 / C-21 yellow stripe with Tubliss very successfully. My new bike came with the Metzeler 6 Day Extreme, which also seem to work very well with Tubliss as the carcass is extremely stiff
