Stolen YZ250 (please help me find)

Ok so contacting, the U.S. Border Authorities won't be necessary (see my screen name)! No I was at work, I am quite certain it was someone that knows the family because I have two fairly large dogs and the "POS" had to enter the back yard which is surrounded by a 6ft block wall to make access to the garage. Thank You all for your help, I will try and keep you posted. Once we get through the holidays I will be looking for a new bike and I will post pics. Bike still had paddle tire on it when taken.
  3. Bike was stolen from my garage last night, my guess is it will end up for sale in one of the bordering states. I am from Queen Creek AZ and the bike is very unique so I don't think they will keep it local. I appreciate your time if you see it or have any information I would really appreciate an Email or message. 2004 YZ250, 2009 front forks, TI spring, Easton bars, ASV controls, dark Bronze Pro rims with Gold Talon hubs. Picture with the paddle tire was take last week as I have a dunes trip planned.

    Possible air leak?

    Fork and Shock ID

Both the shock and forks will bolt right up from 04 to present! Wheel spacers are needed for some years.

Finally 2004 to 2009 suspension swap! (PICS)

The 04 and up are the same size tube, you will need to switch triples and weld on new stops! Someone on this site has done it, hopefully he will see this and help out. Good luck!!

2004 YZ250 oil from weep hole?

I am getting oil from the weep hole, does not leak when sitting however I get a few drops when bike is at operating temp. I can't detect any oil in the coolant and when I change the oil there is minimal loss. Question is what if anything do I need to fix water pump seals? Is this just a gasket any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

D1H top clamp and stock bottom, complete stock setup will work with no problems.

    05 yz250 idle inconsistent, dies.

You fixed the air leak now you must fix the jetting. I would venture to guess your jetting was compensating for your air leak.

    2004 yz250 erratic idle

I am having the exact same issue with my 04, I ride single track, very technical trails (lots of rocks) and as soon as the bike is hot it is all over the place on idle. I currently have the carb off and I am replacing everything in it. I am putting in the JD jet kit and a new set of Vforce 3 reeds (looked like the old Vforce 2 may have been leaking). I should have the bike back together by Thursday (parts are due to arrive on Wednesday) and I will let you know the outcome. My opinion is it is in the carb as the bike is fine at the track in Phoenix, AZ and in the sand in Cali (will idle hot for hours if I let it in either place) but hates the National Forest and the tight single track.
  14. I would check the clutch basket sounds like you have heavy notching, which will cause the issue you describe.

Finally 2004 to 2009 suspension swap! (PICS)

I measured them side by side they are exactly the same length, however I have no idea how to measure axel offset. Plus truth be told I am not and probably will never be good enough of a rider for any of it to matter, I just like working on the bike. Soon as I get the 295 kit, I am going to redo the wifes KX80!
