    crf 250 good woods bike?

I have a 2014 250 r and have raced it in the Alberta xc series all year. Love it! I have lots of bolt on mods, but the motor is in stock form and can lug down really low. I raced most of the year on stock susp an it worked good.

    2014 250 r rad protection

Ah. Rad bulletproofing ... Good call. I seen these at Baja last year. A guess it's the only option with nobody making decent pro... Thanks!

    2014 250 r rad protection

So while I wait for proper rad protection I noticed my new acerbis 2.7 gallon tank offers some decent pro... At least from a topside loop out

    2014 250 r rad protection

So bulletproof designs just called me back and they just got a 2014 250 r into their shop, however they are not 100% sure if they are even going to make em or not. If they do it's a couple months out

    2014 250 r rad protection

So I've got a rad question... With all the similarities between the 13 450 r and the 14 250 r, any chance the rads are the same? I'm guessing with the bigger displacement of the 450 the rads might be larger, but worth a though because lots of companies make rad pro for 13 450.

    2014 250 r rad protection

Thanks for info guys... Building a woods weapon, hence the need for protection. Also putting in rekluse core 3.0 with left hand rear brake kit, 18" wheel w bibs, factory conn damper upgrade and flexx bars (wrist issue). I raced a 450 x last couple years and looking forward to losing some bike weight and giving a moto bike a try ))

8v- have you found a decent skid plate for the 14? I'm looking for plastic, but don't like how they can rub on the engine (water pump and oil filter)

    2014 250 r rad protection

Does anyone know who is making decent rad pro for the new model?? I wanted mohard or bullet proof designs but no listing for 2014 -- and no returned voicemails either:(

    Hand guard help

It's a sliding compression bolt set up. You have to try pull on it and at the same time unthread it. You are trying to prevent the compression nut from spinning. Or maybe I'm totally off :/ Or try pounding it in further...

2007 AC pump timing - not adjustable?

Oh ya. There is still a slight hesitation until its truly warmed up. Like 180 degrees!

2007 AC pump timing - not adjustable?

Well after $1100 of labor costs I have figured out what the problem was, well combination of little problems. The owner of accurate dyno tune in Sherwood park , AB solved this issue. Ac pump timing - even though it looked good to me and tech at honda dealership, it was too slow. I don't have the specs on exactly what timing is but it starts squirting as soon as slide starts moving. He said possibly hitting the slide just a bit. Ac pump spring - the merge - looks like either me or honda tech ( not sure if he moved it) put this spring in improperly. Rookie move I guess. It seemed really tight to me but I guess it still could get into a tighter position. Fine tune - he adjusted the leak, fuel screw, idle properly. Then I got a dyno test on it. Trying to ensure its going to be good for the Baja 1 K coming soon. It's hard to predict with our current elevation, humidity and temp but looks like I should raise needle clip one. Looks lean in the beginning, but he didn't point this out as a big deal. Ill post dyno results if I can. 50 rwhp.
