I chose the one loop option at four aces and it showed as dnf for me even though I finished

This is my first year racing, I have done three races so far and haven't finished any. When I signed up at my first race I thought that I was to good to call myself a beginner and signed up for novice, but now I am seeing how tough these desert races are and think I'm only ready for beginner(1 loop, not 2).What do I have to do to move down a class? Do I just sign up as a beginner or do I have to petition to move down or something? DMC-dnf at mile 15 4aces-had the flu and only did the first loop Checkers-front brake fluid leak in first few miles (not sure why yet), decided the course was too difficult with no front brake and called it quits 20ish miles through(few miles past where you crossed Anderson lake)
  5. Ok, thanks

  7. Trying to install these hand guards I just bought but ran into a problem. On the throttle side I cannot put the hand guard on because it has some sort of screw in it that does nothing when I twist it and will not come out What do I do?!

  9. Last year at ocotillo wells on my last ride with my old bike (crf150f) I was following my uncle up and down some hills ( he was on a crf450r) and he chooses a huge a$$ hill that he didn't expect me to follow him up but I did. My little bike powered all the way to the top of the the hill. But that's when it all went wrong, the last 5 ft of the hill were almost vertical and changed from sand to rock when my back tire hit the rock it was a burst of traction and it launched my bike, I jumped off and landed perfectly almost as if it were scripted at the peak of the hill as a watched my bike do flips in the air as it flew off the equally steep other side of the hill. I wasn't scared for myself but for my bike because someone was buying it the next week! The bike landed on its side in some sand and was undamaged except the back fender was folded back over onto the seat.
  10. I have anther question. I already have numbers on my number plate, will they let me keep these numbers or will i have to get the ones that they assign?, if so, i have some blank number plates that i can put on.
