Crf 230 to 250 2 stroke too big of jump?

Thanks for the advice, the only reason I don't want the 125 is that it doesn't have the low end I want for the trails. Plus I'm 14 and i am still growing. Also what mods should I put on it to make it more of a trail bike
  3. Hey TT, I'm finally going to buy a new bike. I have rode my crf 230 for a bout a year and half pretty solid but took a 6 month break because of sports and rode on and off during those months. Now I'm riding more often and I want a 2 stroke to mostly ride trails and mess around on the track. I'm looking at the cr 250, because of the reliability of the bike. I have ridden a ktm 200 and felt pretty comfortable on the bike. So what do u guys think I should get. Thanks

    Husky 310 on track?

For fun and probably once every 2 weeks something like that. I'm wondering if the suspension is going to be able to take the big jumps be cause on my crf 230 it couldn't take anything so that is one if my concerns.

    Husky 310 on track?

My mind is set on a 310 right now and I was wondering how well they do on the track. They are going pretty cheap so I want to get one as soon as possible.

    Ktm 200 vs husky 310

It's time for me to get a new bike and I mostly ride in rocky and dry areas. But I also like to ride track. Currently I ride a 230 f and I want something lighter and with more power. Thanks

    Technique bike?

Well a crf 230 is a heavy bike and it is pretty hard to get the front end off the ground. So probably a 125 but it will have a lot of clutch work that comes with it . So maybe a ktm 200 would be a good fit for trails because I the low end power.
