    CRF250L Suspension/Handling Upgrade Thread

I think i will soon give up on searching for a cheap way to upgrade both cushions and go for quality(meaning racetech....even if it's huge in taxes to get over here).I heard of a discount for thumpertalk members,do i qualify for it just by being on the forum or there's something else?
  2. Almost 2000 miles and the only problem was the chain tensioner(replaced by Honda dealer). Also, the front springs seem to get lower and lower. The bike is still stock.Anyone know of any European(cheaper for me) company besides Hyperpro that builds shocks and front springs for the L?

I really like the bike but....must mod.

I've done only minor mods until now ,haven't done any modification yet that could void my warranty with the dealer....a few months to go until i can .The reason is that i had the same problem as some with the chain tensioner at around 1000km(620 miles) that was replaced by Honda under warranty.I'll take that warranty T'ILL THE END! lol.Sure the exhaust still sounds like a blender machine....and the front forks start to seem like there are no springs in there .....Mind you that i live in Geneva and people are bothered with birds that sing too loud and to go offroad here you really have to get "creative"(meaning, illeg*** cof, cof ,cof). But you know what? I STILL LOVE my little red piggy as is

It's a UFO Plast Twins Halogen.I had it lying around in the garage and put it on, but as i couldn't see sh*t with the double halogens i ordered a crf250x headlight(only the headlight no plastics) and trimmed it to fit, using the oem lamp and connector all sealed up with black silicone. Also had to build a custom mount for the speedo so i could put it a bit backwards so the headlight wouldn't look weird. While building it i wasn't sure i would like the end result, but it turned out ok in my opinion.

Yeap. It's my neighbors Q7, and man that thing is bright.I don't especially like how they go on the Q7 but on the R8 coupé they look awesome. Never seen them on a Clio though.

Me either. i prefer as simple as possible. Ordered a white polisport freeflow front fender and an OEM cfr250x white headlight. The result should be something similar to this( windows paint experiment before i decided to go for it...lol)

new rims and tires are on

This is awesome.I'm not much into the black and white thing....but the way you built it, no matter the colour, it's simply aggressive and beautiful. I would dare to say...the best looking crfl i've seen.

New Members Welcome Thread... : )

Not much mods yet, only esthetics. Hoping to upgrade both suspensions, complete exhaust with programmer(was looking to see if a smaller and similar alternative to the Q4 would show up....delta barrel didn't convince me) and figure a way to change to a smaller speedometer(only problem is fuel sensor) on top of a fatbar so i could lose weight on the front and back. Also my battery to a lithium...forgot to remove it before winter and it's dead. The snowboards themselves aren't that dangerous...one just as to remind himself not strap on one...
