How many bike have you owned?

    I dreamed of riding a bike my whole childhood and didnt get my first Honda 50 'till I was almost 14, I'm now 24 and could not be any more appreciative or proud of EVERY bike I'v had the privilege of owning. Here's the list (in somewhat of order from first to current) 1, 1989 Honda XR50 2, 1980 Honda CR80 3, 1992 Honda CR125 4, 2002 Honda XR100 5, 1971 Yamaha MX175 6, 1978 Suzuki RM250 7, 2003 Honda CRF150 8, 1996 Kawasaki KX125 9, 2000 Honda XR80 10, 200? Chinese 110 11, 1979 Yamaha IT250 12, 2000 Honda XR50 (avi pic) 13, 1977 Honda XL125 14, 1992 Yamaha WR250 15, 2002 Yamaha YZ85 16, 1995 Honda XR100 (currently own) 17, 1978.5 Suzuki RM250 (currently own) 18, 1996 Kawasaki Ninja 500 (currently own)

    Mid 90's XR100r Graphics?

I am looking for the 1995 XR100r Canadian graphics (attached pic), Does anyone know where I might find some of these? Original or remake? I'v done a google search and came up short... just wondering if any of you Honda vets might a line on some?... Also, What would be the best way of restoring the white plastic gas tank? it has faded over the years in to a pale yellow/ beige color, Thanks guys!

    Chinese quad wiring..need help

Sorry I took so long to reply, I'v been pretty busy with my own bikes. I have a few diagrams here, you'll have to check how many pins are on the plug to the cdi and that will determine witch one to go by, But more than likely it will be the last one, it is the one I'v used on both my chinese atv's (50cc and 200cc) If you have any questions or need any help just let me know.

    YZ85 Revving Issue, (solved)

Sorry to leave you hanging like that guys, I didn't have much time last night after working on the bike. It turns out it was a combination of a faulty CDI and worn piston rings (probably mostly the rings), We brought the bike to a friends shop yesterday and tore the whole top end down, he had a spare set of rings so we changed them and took the cdi from his bike, buttoned er' all back up and BAM, problem solved! Thanks again for all the help guys! And Thank you MrBinkels for the link to the manual! but I already have the 02' manual. Thanks!

    Chinese quad wiring..need help

If your just looking to make it run and drive, I have a couple diagrams that may help you but they don't include any lights or safety switches. I'll post them when I have some time later today. I just wired two of these myself so if you can't get er going I may be able to help. Are you able to post some detailed pics of all the wiring and components?

    YZ85 Revving Issue, (solved)

@MrBinkels, Thanks for the link, I'll have to give that a read. In the video I had the entire intake boot off (from carb to filter) And I also checked the other side (from carb to motor) when I checked the reeds and it all looked good, I'll take pics of everything tomorrow so you guys can have a look and I'll post a longer vid. @motoxvet, " I'd still like to see a timing light looking at where the spark is occurring thru this surging instead of just the light flashing every engine revolution." How would I go about doing this? Also, I'm thinking I had the gas cap off when I drained it so I'll check that to (I'll cry if it's something that simple). And no, there's no filter in the carb at all, I'm going to dismantle it yet again tomorrow and take lots of pics. Any thoughts on how to set the float level? And if it was set to low would it cause this? Someone else on another forum suggested it could be the crank seals because of all the spooge (I posted a pic of the silencer, this is after 30-40min. max run time after a fresh repack)

    YZ85 Revving Issue, (solved)

@MrBinkels, How would I go about checking the timing? And what is BTDC? When I rev it to half throttle it seems to act normal and holds its rpm's, and if I just give it short bursts of throttle it revs right up no problem, it only happens wide open at full throttle. @MotoxVet, I did pick up one of those spark-testers (it's a light that goes between the coil and plug) and it stays brightly light the whole time and gets brighter when I rev it up, it does not seem to dim at all even when the rpm's drop... Also, i did check the gas flow when I changed the premix ratio, the flow is nice and strong. I'v found a compression tester so I'll do that in the morning, still no luck with the leak-down tester ( they ordered the wrong thing) Thanks for the help guys! I'll be sure to keep you posted.

    YZ85 Revving Issue, (solved)

the bike had been warmed up for a good 10 min before I took that vid and that is a brand new plug as well. Also revving it with the choke doesn't make a difference.... Thanks for the ideas, keep em' coming.

    YZ85 Revving Issue, (solved)

I just tried it again with a new plug boot, new plug and with the kill switch disconnected, No luck. I went to NAPA and ordered a spark-gap tester and a leak-down tester, they will be here tomorrow morning so I'll do those tests then. Thanks for the suggestions and keep the ideas coming!

    YZ85 Revving Issue, (solved)

I forgot to mention I did also check for a vacuum leak. I did not do a compression test because I don't have a tester. How would I do a "leak down" test and do I need and special tools? Also, can someone tell me how to check/ set the float level on these? Thanks for the help.

    YZ85 Revving Issue, (solved)

This is my first ever post on ANY forum so i apologize if I'v done something wrong. I am going INSANE here! I have a 2002 YZ85, I purchased the bike used last fall in non-running condition and I spent the winter going over the bike, This is what has been done so far- Dumped old gas, cleaned carb (thoroughly) and re-built with carb kit (new seals, jets, etc) cleaned entire exhaust and re-packed silencer inspected reed's (they look good) replaced air filter with a Twin-Air replaced coil and tested all other electrical (all is in spec) replaced throttle cable After all of that the bike starts and idles fine, but when you rev it up and hold it open the motor seems to constantly rev up and then bog down and then rev right back up again (constantly rev's then bogs while holding the throttle in one position) I have a short video demonstrating what it does. Things I'v tried so far with no luck- adjusted clip position (was in the top notch when I got it and I'v tried them all but the very lowest position, it is now in the middle) was running 32/1 Ams-Oil synthetic, now running 40/1 Valvoline synthetic premix, no difference Tried running it with out the silencer, no difference Tried running it with out the air filter, no difference (its off in the video) tried the air-mix screw from 1 turn out to 3 turns out and everywhere in between, does not seem to make a difference (it is now 1.5 turns out) it seems to be running ritch because the silencer is spewing sludge and the bike as only been run 30-40 min since I repacked it. I'v tried every thing I can think of to no avail! This is absolutely driving me F****NG INSANE!!!!
