    2019 Yamaha YZ250F Reviews?

For Midwest enduro and hs conditions the bike does not stall, feels totally hooked up and driving forward, and the chassis handling is amazing. Feels much smaller more compact and planted compared to my 250xc (that is what I like best about it)

tacko don't be afraid to ditch that 250XC for a 19 yz250f....I did exactly that (my xc was a 17' but same thing), and don't regret it ONE little bit!!

looking at my app now..."map" is stock and comes loaded as map1 (or did on mine!) mine also came with hard hitting, smooth linear, and linear trq. TP2.0 was direct from keefer and is specific to the 2019 yz250f

that is WRONG. The all 0 map IS the stock map...and so far it works best of the 4 other maps I have tried INCLUDING the infamous TP2.0

    2019 Yamaha YZ250F Reviews?

so I am coming off of a 2017 250XC...excellent bike loved the no vibration counterbalanced motor and light handling. Suspension was just OK. Now I am an admitted 250f guy (have had many)...so take that for what it's worth. The 19' yz250f feels smaller/more compact to me immediately when getting off the xc...which I like (I am 5'7"/175...seniorA offroad rider)...you have good reason to miss the KYB, as it is AWESOME right from the get go. Of course it is valved for mx, but can easily be clicked out to work just fine offroad (not rocky where I ride though)...feels super planted and plush. The new chassis handles superbly everywhere, the estart is great, and the motor RIPS with the stock map. Bike is loud though (doesn't bother me as I am a longtime earplug wearer)...I did buy a Dr.D slip-on to get the spark arrestor, and it is a touch quieter and better sounding. The phone app is super cool no more need to have an hour meter mounted, and fun and EASY to try other maps (I think all brands will go this route within 3-5years)...overall GREAT bike!! Found out the 2019 450fx larger tank will fit as well (go from 1.6 to 2.2gal) and can be found online for $247 complete for all you HS racers. That should provide enough for 2hours
  14. I had an NV200....crap seats, no power, and didn't trust the CVT tranny. Sold and bought promaster city....feels like a friggin' RACE van compared to nv....WAY more power with the tigershark engine...my 9speed tranny seems awesome so far...and on the highway I'm getting nearly 30mpg!! Bikes roll right in same as nv200.
