    Absolutely agree.! The suspension mod's really transforms the 230F into a completely different bike versus stock. Add Terry Miller's 2.5 ST 254cc stroker with PWK 28mm carb and Frank's Engines Only exhaust.. the "fun factor" is off the chart. Unbelievable improvement in the bike with suspension and overall performance.. The 230F is by far my favorite bike of all...

    Hagon Shock Review

    I've had a Hagon on my 230F for over 2 years and love it.! No leaks, no issues, and rides just as plush as the day I installed it. The Hagon is an amazing shock on the 230F.. can't speak for how it performs or holds up on any other bike. Also sent my forks to Bruce Triplett for his damper mod.. The Hagon shock (from Bruce) and the fork mod is the best money I've spent on my 230F hands down. Night and day difference from stock suspension. Cheers

    wide ratio gearbox for crf450r

    I often do 3rd gear starts unless the starting gate area is more desert/dry/sandy vs wet/loamy. When the bike hooks, I often get out in front and get the hole shot; or, I'm 2nd/3rd in the first turn which keeps me ahead of the routine pile-up. 1st gear is useless on the 450R IMO. Just my 2 cents..

    Riding and practicing on shabby/dog/sand type mx tracks, will make you a better rider/racer on well maintained and well groomed mx tracks.

    Considering a trials bike

    230F = Much heavier than a trials bike. Great for trails, woods, desert, hills, water, overall fun factor off the chart. I spend approximately 75% of the time sitting on my 230F.. 1974 Yamaha TY250 Trials bike = Light weight, well balanced, incredible torque/power off idle. Not the best choice for ripping through the desert, woods, or trails with friends. I spend approximately 95% of the time standing on my trials bike.
  10. Remove. Clean in hot soapy water or No Toil filter cleaner. Air dry Apply Bel-Ray air filter oil. Install Go riding. Takes maybe 15 to 20 minutes..
