    Where do these bolts go

Drats! And thanks! That explains why I can't find the weep hole bolts. I used them to hold the slider in place. I'am I wrong think it's not worth taking the covers off to change them out? Hey I used 90% of the parts. That's an A in my book.

    Where do these bolts go

So in putting my bike (2005 wr450f) back together I have two bonus bolts. They where with all the head parts. Any thoughts on where they used to live?

Installing All New Bearings - How?

Found my answer. Shop press! Takes all the drama out of the job.

Do I need to replace this shaft?

Yeah... The I let it sit a little too long with a little too much heat. I'll find out about the integrity of the case soon.

2018 390 clutch basket bosses splitting

What does the head of the bolt look like? Are the threads still intact? You have a unique situation. The basket is tost anyway... Over torque the one of the other bosses and see what happens.

Do I need to replace this shaft?

Took an hour or so inching the circlip around to the side. Once the clip was off I used the press to push out the shaft. Now to order up a new one.

Installing All New Bearings - How?

I'm going to use a press and some fire tomorrow and see how it goes.

Do I need to replace this shaft?

Found it! Part# 5BE-13342-00-00 Oil Pump Idler Gear Shaft. Any ideas on that clip? Pushing one end just cause a small gap at the back.
  13. Just to clarify... I'm not heating the bearing. When I removed the bad ones (the one in the photo for example) I used the BBQ and let the case get to about 450f. After pulling the new bearings from under the dry ice the main slid right in. The transmission and balancer bearings heated up and expanded before reaching the bottom. I'm just trying to figure out where the sweet spot (heat) is for getting these things in the case. As it sits the 2 of 5 are in on the right side of the case.
  14. In removing the bearings from my case I got this shaft a little hot. Anyone know how to remove it? Or what part number it is to order a new one? The clip doesn't want to come off.
