  1. He's still kicking haha. The WR was no good, and we're now looking into 230s. My main concern is him having parkinsons and not being too stable on the bike.
  2. Found a 97 wr250 for 800$ on craigslist, calling tomorrow and hopefully getting it!
  3. I finally talked my dad into riding again. He raced for about 30 years until his last race in 1992 which ended in 2 total knee replacements. He rides here and there, just my bike around the track once or twice. He's ready to get a new bike but we're not sure what to get. Details- Height- 5'7 aggressive on bike- 3/10 Mostly trail riding No more racing Preferabley a 2 stroke but fine with a four stroke Plan on spending no maker than 1.5k, getting a hard bike. 69 years old Thanks for all the help!
  4. The guy had to work today, I'm stopping by tomorrow afternoon! It's 3 towns away and my dad doesn't want to drive that far, but I'll find a way!
  5. Sweet, good to know! Lots of arm pump coming my way! Sweet, good to know! Lots of arm pump coming my way!
  6. ' 2003 cr85 recallThere is a recall on all 2003 cr85,s. The cyclinder is defective, the ports have been casted to low causing a excessive rich condition. If your cr85 bogs right off idle, this could be your problem. Contact your local dealer, they will replace the cyclinder with the updated one at no charge. Also the clutch cable has also been recalled ,to short been snapping. Dont let your local shop bull**** you and say they dont know anything about it like mine did for two months. Have them contact honda it is on their dealer website.' Oh shit! I'll have to see if he got that taken care of!
  7. I found a 03 cr85 small wheel for 800$, I might go get that today! And those bikes are beautiful!
  8. Once again, I'm set on Honda! I do like yamaha but my pops won't let me get anything but Honda now! I like the thought of the bike teaching me right and wrong! I'm a fairly decent rider, and I feel a 2 smoker will help me with that further! Once again, I'm set on Honda! I do like yamaha but my pops won't let me get anything but Honda now! 9. I want to get into racing and the 150f is not good for that! I recently got a concussion and my over protective mother wants me to get a smaller bike! The 85 can be raced and I can reach the ground on it, unlike the 150! Power isn't a problem, the 150f has enough for me!
  10. I might look into the 125, but I think I'm done growing! I might look into the 125, but I think I'm done growing! That might be a problem at first, but I think I'll get used to it!
  11. Awesome! Riding 5 days a week, I think I'll get the hang of it soon! And if I do eventually switch back to a 4T, I feel like I'll dominate on them ahhaa Awesome! 12. - i do mostly mx with the occasional trail ride - not too sound like a cocky bastard, but I ride it pretty good considering how much more it weighs than me, the size and how long I've been riding. I'm no where near the best but I've got the basic skills downs and then some. 1 being I whiskey throttle every time 10 being pro, I give myself about a 6 - no electric start! I have problems with my right foot (never let the broken ankle heal, weird clicking noises and sometimes I can't move it or walk on it) so it's rare that I start it myself. If I do, I have my pops hold the bars steady so I don't fall over since I can't reach the ground, but most of the time he has to start it for me! (Embarrassing!!) - I don't want to go over 1k, but if it's really nice I might. I paid 1.1 for my 150f, barely ridden, clean, minimal scratches. I'm looking more around 600-800 if it's a bit dinged up or raced before
  13. Opposite actually, I can't reach the ground on the 150f unless the kickstand is down or I'm turning!
  14. Awesome! Good to know I won't be fixing a blown up bike every other week! I found a good deal on a cr85, not sure if a small wheel l is the way to go or not
  15. That was my thought! Never tried it, why not! I've noticed they blow up often but not a big deal to fix! How's that going now? How long did it take to get used to it? How's that going now? How long did it take to get used to it?
