  6. crf450x

What part of south Baja? I have some homies down there. And when it comes to maintenance as long as you are on top of your levels and oil condition you'll be fine, the most important thing is to keep the air filter clean.
  7. Any pictures of the end product?
  8. Something I found and hasn't been posted here, looks interesting , cheers.
  9. What do you think about the end product?
  10. Sure thing 450x will be!, planning on buying an extra 450x to keep it as a parts donor in case shit, not building a powerhouse but a reliable low oil consuming 450x, I'll keep you guys posted.
  11. Great video by Janesky Racing, documentary movie on how the conquered the 2015 Baja 1000 aboard their honda CRF450X. If you wanted some motivation to get out and race., well here you go. https://youtu.be/YYaQLS-7ejU
  12. Indeed, this bike was developed in Baja. I believe this is one of the best documented experiences when it comes to the Baja 1000 on a bike and what it takes to accomplish the journey. Hope this motivate a couple of folks that have the budget, time and opportunity to go race down south, I'm planning to do it solo when I get back to the west coast.
  13. When in the des I usually go for something more like k772 by kenda, maxxis maxcross desert it or Dunlop AT81
  14. Again I just check with a customs officer and he said if it is only the dirt bike on the truck bed and gear bags on a clean accesible for me to look over it's ok.
  15. Thought you were in CA. I have some places to refer you out west. Here in the east I'm on my own.
  16. Where are you located?
  17. If they are DOT and like them go for it dude [emoji1362] can't say a bad thing about Kenda's.
  18. I believe your problems have to do with proper timing, valve clearance, proper jetting and carburetor service. Plus try a different shop, seems they are wasting your time and money.
  19. What was the shop diagnosis? Do you have trouble starting the bike with the kickstart, e-start or both?
  20. Either Dunlop D606 (20/80) or Kenda K270(60/40). Currently using Kenda and I love them
  21. Based on what the officer told me when I asked the same question is that bikes are not required to have a sentri pass due to be considered to be cargo of your truck. My bike was plated back then. Even though to be safe I removed the plate from the bike and Kept them on my SUV.
  22. Before you start with the mods, get the bike to or specs and properly running, now were you having those problems before you took it to the shop to do the valve work?
  23. There are ways, but personally haven't done my research on my home state of CA, got mine plated in SD, but I'm currently on DE. Not that worried not planning to go back to CA but to AZ, but who knows. Anyways, make sure to re set to factory settings your clickers and go from there to what suits your riding. As always make sure your bike is breathing clean air and drinking clean fuel at all times.
  24. Check your bearings, inspect and lube your chain, obviously do an oil change(HP4 non moly or maxima syn blend 4 are my recommended ones for engine and HP4 non moly or maxima endurance 85 on trans. Side.)make sure to run a full qt. On the trans. Side, set you suspension to your weight and stuff. And halla at ya boy if you have any questions ✌?
