    CR250R Part ID

That'd be it. I haven't had the countershaft sprocket off on the CR but I have done the seal kit on the DRZ so it would just be parts laying around. I've had the CR apart for about 6 months now and I kinda thought it was from around the stator coil or similar but when I put the new stator in tonight I realised I had no idea where it came from. Thanks again.

    CR250R Part ID

I did think that. Probably off a DRZ400E then (I think a new collar comes with the All Balls seal kit?). Not sure why it is still on the bench though. Thanks mate.

    CR250R Part ID

Hi. Is anyone able to ID this part? I've done a reasonably extensive tear down on a 99 CR250R (minus engine) and this is still sitting on my bench. I'm not 100% that it is from this bike as I have had a couple apart but so far, I haven't identified anything missing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    99 CR250 Stator Resistance

Thanks mate. I found that Ricky Stator does a different stator for the 97-98 and the 99 models, with the 99 stator having a nominal resistance of 18-22 ohms. The one I got (Electrosport) will bolt straight on to the plate but I wanted to make sure that the resistance difference won't cause any problems to other components or whilst running. 12.5 ohms is at the lower end of the specs but hopefully will still be ok. Thanks again and cheers for the manual link.
  7. Hi, Can anyone tell me the resistance I should get across my stator winding (blue to white) for a 99 CR250? I bought an aftermarket stator off ebay and ended up with a lighting stator as opposed to a normal one. I am unable to test the resistance on my original stator (damaged and open circuit) but the new one is 12.5 ohms blue to white. If this is ok and comparative to OEM, I will remove the yellow wires from the lighting stator and run it. I have noticed that the connections are near different poles but as long as it will work.... Thanks in advance for any help.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

New rubber on the back. I'm giving a Continental "Motion" a try. The old Pirelli Sport Demon has a small tear in the side wall which leaked enough for me to ride with not enough pressure way too much causing me to only get about 6000ks from it.

    Australian DR-Z owners thread?

Hey Guys, I received a set of KTM fork guards today to fit to my DRZ after getting sick of looking at the standard shockie boots but due to my front headlight (not stock), I won't be able to get them to fit. I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in them. I figured I'd put the under the Aussie thread, as international postage would probably cost more than they cost me in the first place. Cheers.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

Just put a pair of shorty levers on. They feel pretty good in the shed. I'll give them a run this arvo on the way to work.

Cylinder Works Big Bore 434cc Fitment Issues?

I also installed it with no issues. Got about 7000kms on it now without any problems.

What did you do to your DRZ400 today?

I got rid of the rubber boots from the front shocks, that were stained with red dirt. My bike only gets ridden on the street so I'm not really sure why I didn't do it earlier. I think it looks better. Before: and After:
