    Beta cross reference?

I always take the hand drill. One second work, to clear the vacuum. As soon as the filter starts spinning, it's off[emoji2][emoji106] But first check if you know for sure you have a spare filter instead of 'thinking' that you should have one, somewhere [emoji2960][emoji1787]

What did you do to your Beta today ?

Nice! I would also sipe in the driving direction for sideward stability![emoji106]

I like this Maggyver solution with the hook. I guessed it was locked because of some kind of vacuum, so I decided to drill it; it popped right off as soon as the drill entered. The debries fell into the inside of the filter, so most probably no consequences?[emoji16]

What did you do to your Beta today ?

Changed front sprocket to 14 for a weekend.of dual sporting. Fried the li-ion battery and replaced with a brand new one. Spotted a broken spoke in the rear wheel and replaced it. Renewed oil with 0.8L and 1.0L on the tranny side. The oil filter was a bitch to get out, do you guys have a trick to get it out?
  5. Or use a Rekluse, automatic fanning, without you knowing or worrying about it![emoji3]

Why no KTM play bike models?

    Beta xtrainer is the ticket!

    Riding in the rain?

I don't mind any volumes of rain, until my feet get soaking wet. Nowadays I alsways soak the stitches of my soles with normal oil. This works great; the boots are waterproof for two days or so.

    Considering a Xtrainer....opinions please

Please replace the stock head gasket with one from a KTM EXC 300, otherwise your engine might go toast. Don't ask how I know this! For the rest, very nice play bike, one of the very best!

What did you do to your Beta today ?

No, it was already a hydraulic clutch. I also had one on my cable clutch DRZ and that was worst.

What did you do to your Beta today ?

Mounted a Rekluse Core EXP 3.0 and played a little bit with it in the woods. Very nice! The adjustable slave is a very nice feature compared to the previous model I had on my RMZ450.
  11. But how many cc's did you drain then from both parts of the engine? I always drain first in a 1L can, so I can always measure any consumption AND double check on the mechanics. Sometimes they accept a phone call during your bike service and a human error is quickly made. So please keep double checking on them, however awesome they seem to be. It's your bike and your live at stake!
  12. No oil in engine side is far more destructive, because the big end bearings will mean splitting the cases: mucho labor!
  13. The seal is accessible through the clutch side, max 2 hrs work. No need to split the cases... good luck with your claim man!
  14. I was very lucky and found 0.3 liters very contaminated oil in the sump. The gear oil was due and I was puzzled to find 1.5L in it. That made me curious to peek into the sight glass and couldnt see anything. The dealer denied it was possible, but later on fixed it without complaining, even without it being covered by Beta warranty.
