    The CRF305L owners thread

Hello again guys; it's been a while since I've posted on here. It's been a while since I've last been able to ride and work on the bike. Right now I've got the 305cc kit with modified air filter and airbox with stock exhaust and header. I sent the ejk controller off to dobeck to have it reprogrammed for the 305. Upon getting it back they said it's going to run a little lean. When I start the bike I have to keep the bike idling by twisting the throttle a bit until the bottom of the radiator is warm then it has zero issues staying running and turning it off then starting it again there is no issue. Can I fix the idling struggle on first startup by playing with the ejk setting? Or do I need to get an aftermarket header/exhaust?

Oh nice, I just might have to do that sometime. I'll have to wait about 5 months though because I'm still only 20 haha.

Yeah I'm gonna take my business to the dealership that's about an hour away in Ontario Oregon because they have a really good reputation and they're really good at what they do

Yeah plus my bike needs its first service which I'm gonna do myself when I get the clutch. I'm not having my shop do any of the work because they're complete &%$#@! and aside from that they won't let me give them the parts I already bought to use for the service

650 is when I needed to replace the clutch and the only reason I'm doing it now is because it can't even drive up slightly uphill surfaces

    Clutch Rebuild

I'm not replacing the whole clutch just plates and stiffer springs

    Clutch Rebuild

Yeah I could but I haven't ridden my bike for a month and I have been going insane to want to ride my bike and I got the oem clutch from CRF's Only which will be here Tuesday but if I order the CBR clutch from my dealer because that's the only place I can think of to easily order it it won't be here fo a couple weeks I'm in Boise

Well shit, I already ordered the oem CRFL clutch. Oh well I'll have to remember for next time I replace the clutch. Does the CBR clutch have the same amount of pressure and clutch plates? And do you just remove the Judder springs when you've got the clutch open?

Same with my XCMHs it seems like i don't need to be going more than 20 mph to downshift hard and lock the rear.
