    Colorado Pmi/honor farm

I heard that pmi/the honor farm area in pueblo was opening again. Thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has heard this or has any other info on it?

Thank you for the input. Got a couple months before I start this project.

    Top end rebuild

I have a 2009 yz450f. I'm probably going to do a piston n rings this winter. Don't feel the compression it used to have while kicking. My question is what brand piston n rings has the most durability and maybe any info on valves n cams. I'd like to add a little horse power if possible. I don't race but do ride the track from time to time. Any help/suggestions would be helpful.

    04 yz450 won't start. What am I missing?

It has compression (I didn't measure it with a tester) but feels the same as before when kicking. I will check the timing again and check for bent valves after work.
  5. my buddy's 04 yz450 won't start. Put a new head and piston and rings on it. It started n ran but had a ticking/knock, sounded like from the top end. Checked the timing and it might have been a tooth off. Changed that and put it back together. Now it won't start at all, only tried kicking it.

recommended trails/area for camping and riding

I expect it to be packed. Labor Day weekend is busy everywhere. And that's fine. This RAM you speak of, is that the track next door to Aztec? I'd like to find a place to go camping with trails that have a few jumps on them doesn't need to be huge jumps.
  7. my friends and I always do a camping/riding trip for labor day weekend. we all live in Colorado springs. we've done rainbow falls, north divide (717 trails), and tarryall reservoir. we like trails that have similarities to a motocross/supercross track. whoops, jumps, burms etc. wide enough to pass and have a friendly competition race so to speak. not into rocky slow technical trails. we also bring kids that ride so some trails need to be 9 year old friendly. if anyone has recommendations of trails that fit these descriptions, id appreciate any info, links, videos. we were thinking of taylor park this year but have never been there. don't mind the drive if we can find info on the kinda riding we like. thanks again for any info.
