    kx250 rear hub bearing conversion question

    -You can make the older wheel for the new KX. You need to buy 3 of the 25mm x 42mm x 9mm wheel bearing and 2x seals that fit the newer model. -You need to make 3 custom spacers because the 25mm ID bearings are 3mm narrower and the center spacer has to fit the 25mm axle. -You need to narrow the newer wheel's normal wheel spacer that fit into the seals from 22mm down to 19mm deep. Bearing thickness spacers spec: 1 of 41.9mm OD x 32mm ID x 3mm thick 1 of 41.9mm OD x 32mm ID x 6mm thick Center spacer: 1 of 25.5 ID x 31.1 OD x 102.35mm Long -Put the 3mm spacer in the disc side of the hub and then the new narrower bearing. Install circlip. -Put the new center spacer tube into hub. -Put the 6mm spacer in the sprocket side of the hub and then the 2 new narrower bearings. Go riding !

    2015 CRF450r - 411 ?

    The 2015 already has a 6 spring set up. The Hinson pressure plate will work, but the inner basket has different splines after 2012. Not 100% sure about the outer basket, if I remember, they are the same.

    2010 RMZ250 EFI stalling issue

    2010 RMZ250 FI that just started to stall when idling once warmed up. I have gone all thru the wiring connections looking for moisture dirt etc. I have ran the Suzuki software without any indication of a failure. It usually starts right back up easily. Sometime it takes a few kicks. It just stumbles hick ups, then stalls. If you ride it and don't let it idle down its okay. Any one have any ideas? Thx

    2011 kx250f sputtering hard landing

    Any one have their 2011 KX250F sputter badly for about 5 seconds after a hard landing. Happened 3 times in one moto. Had someone else ask me about the same thing. Same bike, different track though.

    2010 RMZ250 Idle Stalling issue

    2010 RMZ250 FI that just started to stall when idling once hot. I have gone all thru the wiring connections looking for moisture dirt etc. Nothing. When the bike is cold it idles, until it gets hot, maybe indicating an electrical coil issue. It usually starts right back up easily. Sometime it takes a few kicks. It just stumbles once or twice and stalls. If you ride it and don't let it idle down its okay. Any one have any ideas? TPS? a sensor or ??? Thx

    Radiators

    No they are different. The prefix numbers designate left and right rads. The four suffix numbers need to be the same too and they are not. Look at the fitment of the rads from china. They fit 06 to 08. But 09 are different

    The 2010 gears are the same as the 2008 and 2009 part numbers. No problem with these years.

    What year head will fit my 04 rmz250

    Any KXF250 2004 - 2006 or RMZ250 Head 2004-2006 will bolt on. The only exception is the 6mm allen bolts on the left. On the 2004 it threads upward. On the 2005 and later they threads down. Easy fix is to get a longer 5mm bolt and nut and put it through and use the nut to tighten, since there will not be any threads in either the newer head or your 2004 cylinder. If you need a new cylinder, get a 2005 or 2006 and you won't have this problem. Either way get the newest head. They work better and have better seats for longer durability.

    09' Piston

    The OEM 2010 Piston has been changed a lot. The skirt is shorter and it has a box style casting around the pin area. It looks a lot stronger. It is similar to JE piston forgings.

    RG3 LINKAGE on 08 RMZ250???

    The linkage works great, but the shock needs to be revalved for the linkage. The combination works awesome but you should do both !

  14. I just got some performance clutch springs for a RMZ250. What a deal ! They are on ebay. I put Pro Circuit ones in our bikes in 2007 which worked great, and kept the plates from breaking but they were $70.00. These are made by the same manufacturer and Shot Peened and are finished better. Not that a clutch spring matters in that department, but at less than half the money, and they are stiffer than stock without making the clutch pull any harder!
