    What bike should I buy?

Im in the exact same situation as you my friend. My top two choices are the kx and yz. Im currently leaning towards the 2015 yz250f because of all the changes they did to the bike in 2014. Reward slanted motor with rear facing exhaust better for centralized mass which is better for handling. Shorty exhaust - ties into centralized mass. Gotta love the air box location infront of the seat with the sleek hidden gas cap. Excel rims which are legit excel rims, i contacted excel and asked if they just got paid to have the logos on the rims. Yamaha motors are more durable than kawis. I just sold my 2012 kx250f, great bike, rocket of a motor but the bike started to deteriorate quickly. 90 racing hours, new top end at 75. The 2015 250f shoot out results will be your best bet to decide on what bike is better for you. The yz250f's will win more championships in 2015. If kawi redesigned their chassis to make it handle better in the corners then id buy it, but they havnt changed the chassis in years. Im a big kawi fan so its going to be hard for me to change but there are way more pros than cons with the new yamahas.

    EVS Undergear UG02 Impact Shorts

    Perfect for me

    SDG Seat

This was my casual riding seat. It was soft, comfortable and practical for lazy rides. Fit like butter and looked great

    Renthal Twinwall Handlebar

    Best handlebar out there

    Acerbis Plastic Kit

    Excellent fit and good price

    Tusk Billet Aluminum Gas Cap

Tusk aluminum billet gas cap. Air vent hose fell off right away. Cheap p.o.s heavy and ugly.

    Works Connection Radiator Braces

Fit nicely and provided a lot of support and protection. I think bikes should have these on from the factory.

    J.E. Pistons Piston Kit

    Loved the higher compression

    Kawasaki KX250F 2012

Great first bike. Purchased second hand from dealership. It was raced and needed a new top end after my first season. Engine was amazing after that, easiest bike to start and was much stronger than stock.

  11. Im getting a new bike in the spring and so far im leaning towards the 2015 YZ250f over the 2015 KX250f. This will be my second bike, just sold my '12 KX250f. Im a very slender guy (135 pounds 5"10) and i know the yamaha has better handling in the corners. I only ride motocross tracks at a intermediate skill level. I rode my friends 2013 Yz450f and didnt like it but he had the stock handle bar and i am so used to the renthal twin walls. Does anyone have any suggestions for a kawi rider switching to yamaha or should i just stick with what i know and buy the '15 KX250f? My first post so im sorry if this is being widely discussed already im a noob Thanks!
