    Max power 285 vs Eric Gorr 295

    Well I got the "much more better" port job done and I know they worked the head. I'm hoping it all comes together nicely. And works with the mods I do have. I live in Oregon around 3000ft elevation and I appreciate the jetting opinions you guys have suggested so I can play around with it. I was heavy into the 4stroke and have been having a lot more fun on my 2 stroke so their is a lot I'm still learning

    I'm not having any problems yet I still have to put it back together. I just wasn't sure if anyone could give me a head start on jetting but from the sound of it everyone is completely different and that I'll probably have to spend a lot of time messing with it.

    That's what I wanted to do. Of course adjust my needle but I wanted to try the Jetting I have when it was just a 250. I just didn't want to hurt the motor at all. I also know add on effect all of that quite a bit also. 2001 kx 250 with the Gorr 295 big bore and port, boyesen RAD valve, fmf fatty pipe,

    For those of you that have done the 295 big bore kit. What jetting has worked best? I just got my cylinder and everything back from Gorr and am going to be putting it all back together but am not sure where to start with jetting or if I should try running it with the jets that are currently in it. I just don't want to hurt the motor.

    Hi everyone I just got my stuff back and am starting to put it back together. I'm just wonder if anyone has any adevice on jetting or where to start? I know their are probably lots of other conversation out there about this but I don't feel like search thew all of them for an hour. Anything helps and I will post pictures and give updates on the end result. Also I'm at like 3,000 feet elevation.

    Yeah i should be getting it back soon. I have the FMF fatty on there right now I will give that a try. Also have the boyesen RAD valve. I think it should be a good combination. I ride a lot of different places from the mountains here in Oregon to the dunes and I wanted a bike that could do well in both. I recently came back to 2stroke after having a lot of 450's and have been having more fun on the 2 smoker. I was eyeballing the ktm300 but herd it came on pretty soft so I figured I'd save my self some money and build myself the perfect bike lol

  15. I currently have a full yoshimura sr4 exhaust on my 2010 450 and have been presented with a great deal on a full fmf mega bomb system. Just wondering if I'd be dumb to switch/ pros and cons of both?
