  1. Hi guys, It's been a while since I've been on the forum, and I'm back with a question: I went to my local KTM dealer yesterday to get a new 4t, and am stuck between the 450 and 530/500... The bike will be used for a small amount of road work, a fair amount of tight woods and open lanes with a few races thrown in. The dealer said the 450 is a lot more aggressive compared to the more 'mellow' power of the 500/530's.. Firstly is this true and secondly which would be best suited to me...? Thanks!

    2007 KTM 200 gearbox fault...

Anyone heard or experienced any problems with the new 200's gear box? Really need to know, as friends box has gone twice with less than 10 hours, just wondering if its a fault...
  3. The time has come for some new boots, just been looking around the net and a few local dealers, and have decided on one of these two boots. So any recommendations or experiences with either of these boots would be a great help... Although i can find the 661 Flights around $100 cheaper than list price

Gas Gas EC 200 vs. KTM EXC 125

Gas Gas EC 200 vs. KTM EXC 125

I need to go down to a 125 for British road laws, for the first year or so of being on the road legally, the bike must not exceed a 125cc. So i thought the KTM natrally seemed to the best choice, however i am now just after opinions on the bike...

Gas Gas EC 200 vs. KTM EXC 125

Any points would be a great help...
  9. Yer i know, yet another one of these threads, but i kinda need to know peoples opinions who have more experience with the KTM. I currently own an 03 Gasser EC200, and i love it, there great bikes no matter what people say about build quailty. The bike is well maintained, so therefore have had few if any problems since ive owned it. However i wish to go road legal now and perhaps get a bike a few years newer, i.e 2004/05. However im now stuck between yet more bikes, its between the EXC 125 or another Gasser, the EC125. I have considered the husky WR125 but have fallen with these two. So any advice, experiences or any general info on what people think would be best. By the way im 17, 165lbs, 5,10" ish. I mainly woods ride along with local enduro races with a little road work(hence becoming legal) Thanks

    Anyone with colored tires?

Just to to add, if anyone has any info on the camo effect tyres, it would be much appreciated! Also if anyone knows if such camo tyres are avaliable for push/mountain bikes too.....

    Aftermarket Snowball Effect!

You all need some rugby!! hahaha Admititly England's play is truly poor right now, but still! In my opinion there just seems something less manly and wholesome if plays have to get kitted up in all that padding to play with one another....

    Graphics...

Ok, firstly this should possibly be in the gasser/extoics forum, but considering its about as busy as snow covered MX tracks, i thought id give it ago in here! I own a 2003 gasser EC200 but have recently found it a real struggle to find any 'cool' graphics for the bike. I can only find oem, and lets be fair gas gas arent really known for their styling! So if anyone has any suggestions, or possible places i might purchase a new set of 'updated' graphics, i would be very happy! Thanks

What do you guys think about Motorex

As far as i know, Motorex is one of the best, a fairly big oil name over here in Europe. There transmission oil is awesome, but is fairly expensive compared to others. Buts its worth it to save your gear box! And hey, KTM's come standard with Motorex in them, and advise users to run it in their bikes!

    enduro question

Im pretty sure the answer will be no, unless you feel like cutting yourself a shorter loop! A few of my riding buddies ride stock crossers and make barely 30 miles on a fully fuelled stock tank, on KTM's, Yammy's and Kawa's. So if possible my advice would be to carry some extra fuel, in rucksack or look for an after market tank. IMS are a very good brand of aftermarket tanks, i have one fitted to my gasser, no complaints! Hope that helped!
