Mikuni TM 40 install on XR650R

Ok- thought so- just wanted to make sure. So how about the rubber capped nipple on the front right side?- keep it capped or? Thanks
  2. Can someone post some pictures of each side of the installed TM40 on their XR650R - is the fuel line on the opposite side of the carb now? And the capped rubber on the right side, is that removed and used as a vent? Where does the oem breather vent that is routed up under the seat go? Says this carb is plug and play but maybe I'm a bit slow.... Thanks.
  3. Bought a TM 40 from XR's Only and it took 3 weeks to get to me but thats another story. Is there an adaptor set needed for the intake and airbox for this thing to fit?

    Thanks Eric!

    Throttle cables pinched/cut

Crap..... It looks like they were routed wrong. I figured it was correct since the installer/owner was a pro. Thanks for the link to the pics pb1963.

    Throttle cables pinched/cut

***** EDIT...... I MEANT THE CLUTCH/DECOMP CABLES ARE PINCHED, not the throttle******* I have the BRP Triple Clamp and Scotts Sub mount on my XR650R. The cables are getting piched between the clamps and the forward stabilizer pin mount when the bars are turned to the right in full lock (mainly when plowing the front end into the earth). This setup was on the bike when I bought it and I do not know if extended throttle cables where installed. From looking at it, longer cables or not, it just seems there is no way to avoid the pinch point as this is the proper routing. Anyone run into this? I know my problem is the occasional digger but replacing cables will get old. I like the stand off bracket Scotts sells to keep the throttle cables from snagging the stabilizer and wish there was something to save my throttle cables.

    JT Racing USA. Their BACK!

Not nostalgic, I just remember JT havig the best fit, protection, and there was a few lines I used that didn't have the loud graphics. They need to get off that crack pipe and lower the pricing if they are looking to make any sort of come back.

That Ballistic jersey is a sweet deal. The items ship out pretty quick on average.

In the past I saw helmets from One Industries and other gear... don't recall all the brands. Like I said, they sell Action Sports gear so you will see Sesh's for top brands of many genres from Moto-Surf-Skate-Snow-BMX- Etc all the way to Scullcandy and Frends headphones.
