FMF Racing PowerCore 4 Full System

The system is for XR650L,It a great set up,it give the bike tons of bottom end,and pulls good all the way to the top,It is just a little loud for a Dual sport bike. The neighbors don't care for it.

    Wiseco Complete Piston Kit

Wiseco 101mm 11:1 high compression piston kit.Only have around 250 miles on rebuild,SO far I am really happy with it.I don't have a decompression release on the bike. But it Starts easy on the first or second kick,Hot or cold.I have modified this motor a lot.I am running 137.5 main jets in both carbs,The stock main is 112

83 honda xl600r running rich problems

The motor rotation from the stator side is counter clockwise. It is best to pull the spark plug, and the valve covers.Role thru the stroke, making sure you are on compression stroke,The easiest way to do this is to watch the intake valves open and close. When the intake valves close it is coming up on compression stroke,so The F mark will show up first in the inspection hole, then T for top dead center.I hope this will help. I have also seen the same problem you are having.By over oiling the air filter.

I love this bike,I purchased it in 2008,It was a basket case motor was blown.I have been building bike motors for over 27 years. So I went to work,Punched it out to 101mm used wiseco 11:1 high compression piston,Installed a Stage 2 Hot cam for a XR650,It took some time to figure out how to pull it off,I added new FMF exhaust system for XR650L.It starts on 2 or 3 kick.I had to rejet the carbs,I am running 137.5 main jet. With the power it is making I went with Barnnet Dirt digger clutch.I cant say any thing bad about.I ride it on the trails and the street.I didn't get the bike finished until this spring. So I have only put 1200 miles on it.
