  1. A+ congrats. Few things are as good as new bike day! Thats a great bike as well, basically just need to keep the air filter clear, change oils!
  2. Last two weekend have been out of control. I was riding some power lines/snowmobile trails and 2 weeks ago the "black flies" were mind blowing. There was a strong wind and even still we couldnt stop for long. My buddie got so destroyed he had to take benadryl to reduce swelling around his face. Last weekend the black flies were all gone, but mosquitos were in full force. Weather is calling for 30ish on saturday, and if it stays dry that should be enough to kill a bunch of them off. Cheers!
  3. On google check out: 45°40'03.6"N 74°35'06.6"W That white van is my buddies we park there. From there you have some good options. Ill PM you next time we are up that way, and we can meet up!
  4. Have you ever ridden off Scotch Road just outside Hawkesburry? there are a lot of trails around there.
  5. Silly question. What is the stock handlebar size if I'm buying handle guards? 7/8 or 1-1/8 Silly question. What is the stock handlebar size if I'm buying handle guards? 7/8 or 1-1/8
  6. I haven't riding my bike very much. Maybe 10h since I picked it up. But I was feeling the same thing. Second gear has too much guts, and 3rd is a little whimpy. I wasn't sure if it was just me not use to the bike yet, but since couple people say the same might be worth asking Santa for one of those. If only they had an Orange chromatic
  7. Cool, can you elaborate on that thought? Do you like the pc more because it's more like stock? Or did you feel a change in the bike after?
  8. It's generally accepted that the gnarly will boost lower end, but sign off a little early. On the PC Web site, the platinum 2 States it's offers an increase in power across the entire band. I just can't find any real reviews that confirm the PC claims. It's generally accepted that the gnarly will boost lower end, but sign off a little early. 9. Sorry boys, Definitely talking about the expansion chamber. I might add slip on later. So i guess I'm between a Gnarly or the platinum 2? I guess I'm not sure. Edit: as for what I'm looking for, just to replace the broken pipe. If I can get more power from it, then that's a bonus. 200 xc-w
  10. Are all the different models of cycra universal? Basically just pick the model i like best? I cannot find a shop around here that carries shorai. I found some Ballistic, i think I'll go with one of them. For a 200 will a 4cell do? Would the 8 cell even fit in? Anyone know the specifics for the battery?
  11. I need to replace a banged up pipe. Local shop is having a 20% off sale up until December 18. The only carry FMF or ProCircuit The more i read, the more information seems contrary. I read one review that said both pipes are identical. Should I just go with the one that is cheaper?
  12. Thanks guys, I'm glad that i picked this up at the end of the year. Gives me time to figure out how it all works. Believe it or not, until about 10min ago I never heard of Jeting. still not sure I understand it. Also, can't find a thread about this Wet Mod. Still researching a new pipe... Doesn't seem like there are many options. FmF gnarly is at the top of my list, but I'm not sure the bike really needs more bottom end power... Only been on it for 6h, but seems torque'y enough.
  13. Some of you might have seen my other thread looking for advice on buying a new bike. Well i finally pulled the trigger on the weekend and got a used 2013 200xc-w Here is the best picture i could do with my cell phone. went out riding Sunday. It was about -3*C. The bike was a champ. I love the feel of the 2 Stroke, very powerfull and light. exactly what you need for riding trails, but also has guts on the open straights. here are some of the little kinks im working out and have questions on. 1) Generally speaking: Are there any mods/parts that you would consider a MUST have/ Must do? 2) The Speedo was not working, no lights/no numbers. Just a battery? 3) The expansion chamber (Front exhaust) has been hit, might be leaking. I'll probably order an FMF Gnarly over winter and install it... would it be work getting a Power Core 2 at the same time? (need the bike to be legal i.e. spark arrestor and silencer) 4) Came with the cheese handle guards (more like flaps)... any recommendations on the best ones to get? 5) Electric start wasnt exactly working. I could hear it trying to do something, and it fired up once or twice. Im thinking just battery. Once i get it cleaned up again, ill try and take some higher quality pics. Cheers!
  14. Thanks for all the great advice! i am still KTM'less but im looking at 2 bikes right now 2011 with about 50h on it. has lights and e start. comes with a ton of extra parts and looks like its in MINT condition or 2013 with 100+h on it. Light and estart. Looks in good condition, but clearly its been ridden. The expansion chamber was hit, and welded so i would change it. both are same price (Give or take). Can anyone think of a reason to take the 2013? I have been checking online, and it doesnt look like KTM made any major changes in that year.
