YZ 125 1992 rear wheel play after bearing change...plz help..

the bearings sit in the hub properly, probably also that the bike was a lot of time with bad bearings ( the Previous owner didnt took good care of it.. ) one thing that ive noticed is that theres some kind of sleeve between the hub and the bearings.. the play comes from there when i installed them i have just froze the bearings and with a big socket and a hammer tapped them slowly in.. again the bearings themself doesnt have any .. its this kind of sleeve that have play on the hub.. i guess i will take all of the hub and get a closer look on this "sleeve"

before i have installed the new bearing kit i have measured the bearings place and the external bearing diameter (with a 1\50 caliper) it was the same..i removed the seals just to recheck ,in the bearings "socket" theres no play at all.. i will measure the axle and the internal part of the bearing just to see if theres a major difference.. look at the no. 2 part in the pic. its a kind of a sleeve that the axle goes inside it ,, if its worn out it could be the cause??

YZ 125 1992 rear wheel play after bearing change...plz help..

soooo.. the lower bearing of the shock have some play.. i have closed the rear wheel to OEM nm spec.. and its still shacking, i have installed PROX bearing kit so its OEM like right? i dont have the old bearings anymore , ive figured out that i have buyed the wrong year.. buyed 1994 rear wheel bearing - my bike 1992.. but i have checked around and they both fit. .i reinstalled the back wheel , checked that the chain adjusters are in the correct position (OK), still have play . im not quite sure ... the wheel spacer should fit perfectly to the axle's diameter or its ok to have some play in that? i'm starting to think its the axle that has gone bad ,i will posta pic of it later, maybe i need a new one thats all.

  6. hey all i have recently bought a yz 125 1992 refreshend it up with a new sleeve, piston & rings. about a week ago i had changed both front and rear wheel bearings. they were toasted...(and had a lot of play,, i thought that it was like it) today while riding i have noticed that i have some major play in my rear wheel... after the ride i took it off and checked it with my finger if it had any play in the bearings.. ZERO play... i usually do some enduro riding (not to hard- old 125) but as far as i know too much play can destroy the hub,, am i right?? maybe there is something that im missing.. maybe its the wheel spacer, could it be the cause of the wheel play?? any help would be reeeeaaaaallly APPRECIATED!!
