    No play, its a brand new crank 15 hrs on it, that was the first thing i checked tho lol!

    Sent it to a head shop today to cut new seats for the new valves i got in today ill let you guys know what they say about it. And as for the clearance of the piston im not sure of the tolerance but at t.d.c. it sits just below the jug. Ive never seen anything like it, and appreciate everyone's comments!!

    Yea the valve aint hitting and the pics are crappy its not raised and ita only wore in that spot i have circled. So this Could be from a bad head gasket and just luckley cought it? The worn place matches perfect on the head and piston. Thx for your input guys, its got me puzzled

    Stock piston comp but it might be a bit lean. Is this piston and head shot then?

  7. Ok long story short rebuilt this 06yz250f over the winter of 2016. Everything but the valves and headgasket were new and by everything i mean everything! For peace of mind i ordered a OEM valve kit and proceeded to take the head off for shipping to get seats cut ect ect. Noticed a different texture on the piston & head right behind the exhaust spots. Is this piston and head garbage? Mind the fact this is a brand new OEM jug, wiseco piston, and OEM head! Pics will show what im talking about!! Any info will be gratefully appreciated!
  8. I have a 06 yz250f with a megabomb header and broke the flange on it. Fmf #040665 is not made anymore so i know have a 250 dollar paper weight. Would it be possible to use a stock flange kit or does anyone know of another flange kit i could use to replace this? I called fmf and they told me buy another header, the design has been changed! This flange kit fits 06 yz250f and 06-13 wr 250's. Any help to save me 250bucks would be much appreciated!

    Rear Break Help!

    Been so busy at work haven't had a chance to get to the auto parts store, my buddy also said take it off and string it up, or try replacing the line. Can't really tell if it's a bad line or not

    What's the chance of air getting thru the bleed off nipple it's self? Anyone had to replace this? Looking at parts on rockymountainatv I noticed I didn't replace the bleed nipple.

    Tried the loop and all I get is break fluid pushing thru, filled a water bottle about half way. Put the cap on and cycled 4 more times and still no pressure, I'm gonna stop at the auto store tomorrow and try the pressure bleeder. I'm stumped and don't know wut to do now

    I have a 07yz250f and have replaced the master and caliper with rebuild kits and still nothing. Everything has been replaced that can be minus the cylinder and caliper it's self. Any help would be awsome

    When is it time to revalve?

    Well took my head to a local shop to have him look at it. Turns out my head just needed cleaned (I thought the middle intake seat was toast, ended up being carbon build up lol) he made sure valves ,seats and springs were in spec and I just ordered new seals. Anything I'm missing, that I should replace while it's apart?

    When is it time to revalve?

    Well took the valves out and looks like they wore a little uneven, the center intake valve seat is about toast and did a leak test with some carb cleaner and it slightly leaked. So now the decision comes down to should o tale them all out and relap them or just replace the valves and seats. Any one have good results on lapping? Any help much appreciated!!
